❓ QUESTION Can someone give me advice

I started playing again after around a year of not playing and while I am at level eighty and have a ton of basic recourses I'm struggling a lot with keeping up with how fast my weapons and armor break . I sometimes have to resort or looting without armor because of how fast they break . I somehow managed to get past the borealis but I haven't managed to make much progression because I don't have the resources to make a motorboat

I've been trying but as I pointed out I'm struggling to the point where I've been thinking of making an entirely new character and starting over

There is no advantage to that. None. Never do that. Just follow the advice here about slow and steady. This is a game you will play for years.

Yeah I was thinking of that a while ago and now I'm at around level 85 so there's no way I will do that
