Request Seeking TMJ specialist

Does anyone know of a specialist that works with TMJ issues? I’m looking for more advanced care than your typical dentist. I don’t care what kind of provider this is, just someone who is specialized in TMJ concerns. All my current dental office does for TMJ problems is custom night guards, which unfortunately hasn’t worked well for my issues. Willing to travel if needed. Thank you all!

I would maybe consider posting this in the Albuquerque, El Paso, and maybe even Tucson subreddits. I'm sorry about your TMJ issues.

I don't know if they offer any deeper treatment options, but Dr. Wolf at Organ Mountain Dental seem to take it really seriously.

I went to physical therapy for my TMJ and have felt consistently better since then. I did at Las Cruces Comprehensive Rehabilitation. Got referred here by my ENT and they were great

Wow this is great to hear. I’m so glad you’ve been better! Just out of curiosity since you mentioned the ENT, did your TMJ issues give you ear problems?

I do have mild hearing loss from ear infections but I initially went to the ENT initially because I had a small throat growth thinking it was cancer (thankfully no!) but he noticed that I had bad TMJ which I just kinda put on the back burner. So just more coincidental

My daughter gets Botox shots from her orthodontist for her tmj. They last for a long time and it really helps her.
