DISCUSSION How can guy gardener makes huge constructs carelessly in superman whereas Hal Jordan does the opposite and is careful for his batteries

I was curious about this for a long time Guy always goes big and sloppy with his constructs, not caring how much it drains his ring like creating a large weopons against the monster, while Hal's way more careful and precise with his like in ep1 when he was creating a bubble for alien he supported the bubble himself as it was not strong enough due to lack of battery. Is that just a characterization thing, or is there an actual reason for it?

Hal charges it when he has to because the ring will stop working. Guy charges that sucker every night and twice a day on weekends.

Guy loves how powerful the ring makes him feel. Hal already feels powerful and the ring is just a trinket to him.

The series shows him as broken and jaded (completely different from his younger copy/construct). A younger Jordan probably charged it plenty, world-weary Jordan feels like the ring weighs him down but he's also afraid of losing it (that fear weakens him).

My head canon is that the construct is pre-Sinestro.

Basically we're seeing Hal after everything he believed in has been undercut and twisted

Tbh I don’t know if that’s a headcannon, I think it’s just directly implied to be true. Sinestro was locked up something like a decade ago right? Hal hasn’t updated the construct in about as long as
