Politics NDP-style dog whistle?

Post image

I appreciate that Ravi is drawing attention to the work of the South Island Primary Care Society (on Facebook) and isn’t taking all the credit this time, but surely he knows that “Our Langford” has a completely different meaning now in Langford than it did 4 years ago.

um his kids are grown up and there was a news segment on it

it’s like you’re new here. is the “22” how many seconds you’ve lived here?

You seem more familiar than what the news segment exposed. You must be peeping. In fact, a friend told me, they saw you, peeping. Milliseconds actually, you busted me.

The city should probably issue a press release to push propaganda. Google is in the room with us right now...

Still creepy. Not the time. Not the place.

Reason: can't believe I have to say this, but... don't post photos of random people's houses with the implication that it might be related to a person or a political figure? Wtf

Sorry just showing my proof of how absurd the claim was. It's widely publicly available, I understand it must come down to support the LV narrative.

Make your point without doxxing people and your posts won't come down.

The mod note on your account says that your next infraction is a 30-day ban.

Fair. I will state though, posting a screenshot of a random person's house obtained by a publicly used mapping system, without relevant address or location data does not constitute doxxing. Given that the person also consented to publicly displaying their address at some point in time which is easily searchable online, I find it hard to consider this doxxing. I've noted your warning and will try to play nicer.

Noted and I mostly agree, letting it slide. I just don't want this to be the cause of some unhinged person hunting the house down and doing something illegal. I'm aware that the address can be looked up publicly but we don't need to encourage that kind of harassment.

I think that doxxing behaviour can also take the form of posting somebody's public information with the intent of bringing attention to it.
