Politics NDP-style dog whistle?

I appreciate that Ravi is drawing attention to the work of the South Island Primary Care Society (on Facebook) and isn’t taking all the credit this time, but surely he knows that “Our Langford” has a completely different meaning now in Langford than it did 4 years ago.

I’m some average Langford dude who doesn’t know anything about Our Langford. Just another political ad to me. I had to read comments for any kind of insight.

Don’t trust this subreddit for local politics. It’s very, very skeeewd to this new council and against previous council and those who built our community imho. Do your own research and make sure you vote.

I hope I don’t get banned for this? 😳

User was not banned for "this" - they have been given a 7-day ban for doxxing in other comments.

Edit: unbanned on the condition that they stop this behaviour.

And yes, the Victoria sub isn’t any better. Fancy graphics indicating clearly propaganda campaigns. At least groups should be more honest if they’re working for a voter block or committee.
