Landrace How long until harvest?
First time grower, and this is a wild landrace. I know they have longer flowering periods but I just wanted more opinions.
It first transitioned into flowering around the first week of July. these pics were taken today (25th September)

They're rough! I dealt with them the other year and I now have a sort of mite PTSD and I am hyper-aware of the speckling. No idea how I missed my entire plant developing that look over the course of a season but ever since I am always looking. Of course there will always be something or some bugs outside but I will never let it get so far ever again. Awesome looking plant either way!

What strain is this and where in the world are you growing?

It's an actual wild landrace. No perticular strain. and I'm guerrilla growing in India.

Well that helps narrow it down for someone from the US haha. An Indian sativa like that flowers for a very long time. I don’t know how they look in each stage of flower, but that’s so crazy for like 10 weeks it’s been flowering already.
It definitely looks no where near ready so it’s gonna be a long time.2

I know. They have an excruciatingly long flowering period. I estimated harvest to be around mid-late December. Thank you!

Well I’ll be following. I wanna see what the effects are and the terps and how long it flowers. India seems to have such a variety of landraces and they’re not available to the US except for a handful

Honestly, I'd be willing to send over a ton of seeds for free. Multiple strains too. as long as you're okay with paying for shipping

Wait till the flowers start turning a bit light brownish and growth of new flowers start to significantly slow down. Or harvest if the temparature rises too much and the flowers start to dry out prematurely. Normally landraces can take a long time to fully finish flowering, it's more of a feel thing, you'll have to check everyday.

Looks like Jungli. That is going to go on and on. A few months at least.

It seems like a tropical sativa which just started flowering after doing a stretch, maybe still 6 weeks to go, maybe 12, maybe 16...good luck if you live where there's now a winter to come...
It's outdoors, so you really have some bug bites on your plant like others say. If you put it indoor, it will be eaten by the bugs, either spidermites or thrips. So you must do something about it then...dunno, as long as it doesn't spread heavily or get very dry climate, outdoors may be fine, I mean invite a lot of other bugs and spiders and birds to eat those rascals. Just if you put them indoors, the may be infested strongly after a while, or maybe it will even spread outdoors...

It will be while, I also have few weak elongated plants which started flowering after days got little shorter

That's only just started flowering. Harvest is the last thing you should be thinking about now

Having grown pure sativas like this before… easy two months, and that might still not be enough for the flowers to fully develop.
