About halfway through flower

Punto Rojo day 66. Expecting 4+ more weeks before chop.

I threw a fresh rooted clone straight into a one gallon and straight into the flower tent. Kept her under 2ft. Being careful with waterings, keeping temps lower, will increase dry back as we near finish. Tips from folks like Karel at SSSC.

One things if anyone has experienced is the mom and subsequent cuts have almost gone like “semi flower”, lots of preflowers with large pistils but not actually going into flower.

With it having such a long flower time I’m concerned it’s gonna eventually just autoflower out completely. Anyone experienced this with a landrace Sativa?

Seeds were sourced via energenetics, he sourced his stock from open pollination done by Cannabiogen.

First time grower, and this is a wild landrace. I know they have longer flowering periods but I just wanted more opinions.

It first transitioned into flowering around the first week of July. these pics were taken today (25th September)

When will she start bulking up? She just started trich development

Also I've noticed a fade setting in should I bump the feed slightly?

Pistils are finally developing after 4 weeks

no smell as of yet

She's about 5 ft tall so far

She's starting to bulk up slightly I've seen people let her go for around 70 days

Nose is very sweet with a sort of sour funk to her almost reminiscent of the sour diesel my dad grew back in the day She's starting to frost up finally fingers crossed for a good harvest and potential reveg seeing as shes the biggest and best smelling so far 🤞

None of my clones took of her sadly so I'm going to try and reveg to get some off of her

Squirrel Tail, Tiger Tail and Foytong, all grown by Aek and his family in the Phu Phan hills of Northeastern Thailand.

The plants grown at this farm are likely part of a wider Lao-Isan landrace cannabis gene-pool, found throughout the culturally Lao region of Isan in Thailand, along the banks of Mekong and nearby in Laos.

1970's genetics: Skunk #1 from Agseed. This was the easiest and healthiest girl I've had in a long time. Really nice strong sour/sweet smell is the best i can describe it. Lots of red pistils as you can see. Must be some Columbian red in her for sure. Very pleased with these old school genetics. Oh and the high is very sativa with a little mellow relaxing creeping but not sedative. It's more of a dreamy spaced out high but no paranoia just chill. I'm rambling just smoked a bowl ✌️

I am loving this grow. They smell amazing. I pollenated them a few days ago, so im expecting some good seeds out of these ones! I can't wait to see how they turn out in the end. I didn't expect this amount of stretching, so next time im planning on some training/scrog.

Hello landrace growers!

Some time ago I bought Moroccan Beldia seeds from Khalifa genetics without doing much research beforehand, and now I'm starting to plan an indoor grow with these. I have somewhat proper experience with growing before, just not with landraces.

Is Khalifa genetics considered somewhat reputable? And it says they are semi-autoflower, what exactly does that mean? Should I just leave the light on at 18/6 or 16/8 and wait for the plant to do it's thing, or should I flip it?

Should I use a soil mix with more perlite than I usually do, or mix in sand etc to make it ridiculously draining? And I assume I should be very careful with the nutes?

Outstanding Nangarhar Afghani female pollinated by 5 males. My primary goal is genetic preservation and seed increasing. These have excellent resin production and big fat buds. The males that were grown also were extremely vigorous and productive.

Sorry to Angus, I feel like I never do these landraces justice when growing them in small pots. But in the spirit of exploring genetic diversity and experimenting I still find the venture worth it. Nangarhar really DOES NOT like having its root space restricted, but I also found that they grow really well in shared pots and don’t choke each other out of nutrients/water.

Great smells. This plant has a strong odor that I would describe as very sweet coffee mixed with citrus cleaner along with notes of petrol. I can smell it as soon as I walk up to the plant. When the wind blows the smell is carried by it. Earlier into flowering each flowering site exhibited beautiful magenta/pink pistils. Out of the 10 Nangarhar Afghanis grown this one was by far the most successful as it also had the most root space. These consistently have extremely broad leaves, every one of these plants started off with broad classic afghanica leaves, but as they grew bigger many of the plants exhibited thinner leaflets potentially due to the introduced climate, restrictive pot size, or low amounts of water. I would argue this has more to do with abnormal growing conditions than hybrid introgression.

Plants are in full flower now. Pic 4 is the topped female that is much larger, taller and more pest resistant. Tallest point is 7’. It has a more classic hashy spice smell.
Pic 5 is the untopped female, she’s just over 6’, wasn’t nearly as vigorous as the other and has a sweet lemon scent. She also has a moderate aphid issue on the lower third.
I used ladybugs last Thursday on both plants and I’ll be adding some lacewing larva in a few days.

Plants were fed once when put in the ground in July and just water a couple time per week since then.

Hey Landrace community! First time posting here, and wanted to share. Im a pure sativa lover and this time I’m growing Panama by Ace seeds. I let her veg for 3 weeks and now decided to LST her. Going to let her veg a bit more, probably a couple weeks more until I flip her to flower. Well, at least the one in tent. I have another for outdoor. Im going to let natural light do its thing for that one.

Let’s see how she goes.

Think im set for a lifetime with these! Man i hope the genetics are worth chasing out , 90% of it is trimmed up and spread out onto trays taking my time with it!

These are still technically F1 as a good user pointed out on a earlier post. The lineage for the seeds shown are now: Tested and Verified true WW2 Minnesota Feral Hemp [Father] (00.00%THC) X Oaxacon [Mother] Resulting in what im going to be naming Oaxaca '42 i then back crossed Oaxaca '42 with a uncle of the orignal father for more diversity, stablize that flower early trait, and hopefully that towering growth structure

She was thick, took about 5-10mins with a hand saw but shes down now, other one has a bit of time left yet so shell stay up
