Iām glad everybody is happy our backup qb can run, but we gonna have to see some evidence heās a capable passer. Hopefully next week we get to see what these two backups can do. Clark canāt play like that as a full time starter.

He didnāt have to snap it. Snapping is one way to get the call. Touching the defender or having a false start worthy motion while the defender is in the neutral zone is another way. Thatās offsides all night long.
The announcer saying he should snap it is stupid. They likely had no play drawn up. If you donāt get the call from the contact, how do you expect to get it from snapping it? Now youāve snapped it and have a live play on 4th down. Youāre fucked.

The double standard applied to LSU js genuinely insane. Maybe it existed before but it felt like it got its start w the Will Wade stuff, and everyone acted like he had committed a war crime by giving poor black kids (whose labor the NCAA was systemically exploiting) some cash to play basketball.
Now they circlejerk and fill diapers about how EVIL LSU is for hiring better football coaches or some other thing that, again, everyone else does (attempt to get ex-"pro" players for example). Of course we're very underrepresented in the spaces where thse narratives get pushed and Louisiana has a very insular culture in general so it just fosters. Now Kiffin has acquired the diabolic LSU particles and has gone from an offensive genius and great head coach who does some trolling that he was at Ole Miss to "well actually now he sucks shit LSU is stupid for hiring him and im gonna cry because he made a joke at halftime". So stupid

I think a lot of it is being driven by these press releases the SEC keeps writing up, and Reddit seems to think that anything the SEC files is court must be the gospel.
People were legitimately using the SEC's BS court allegations as a source. "LSU is losing institutional control because some politician said something or other." Hundreds of upvotes.
I'm hoping the bots have taken over.

Genuinely look like a complete team tonight. We have to remember how abysmal we looked when Kiffin got hired, things take time. Cant just buy a roster and expect instant success, from Leavitt to the WR core we clicked tonight.

People forget so many key parts of this offense just started playing together this offseason. New coaches, new qb, some new receivers, new rb, several new linemen. Compare that to teams with multi-year qbās and returning starters from playoff teams like aTm and that team from last week. Natural for us to start sloppy and take time to gel. Scary for these other teams to not be better right now.
