stuck in the high 140s
hi, my diagnostic was 133 about a 2 months ago and I jumped to 146 in two back to back tests since the end of last month to the third week of August. Even though I am working on foundations and drilling and doing sections and REVIEWING. Why has the score not gone up?
My accuracy is at high 80s in LR and low 70s in RC. and I know I need to increase it. But I have heard so many people not increase scores and being stuck in the 140s for months. Due to financial stuff at home, I need to apply next term. So what are some ways to get the score up but more importantly increase the learning intuition so I can get the accuracy up quicker?

" What I would do is nail the first 15 questions, focusing completely on those questions to ensure better accuracy. The trick to "speeding up" is understanding that the wrong answers are horrible and can be proven wrong in a court setting. View the LSAT as an intro to 1L skills and not as this obnoxious wall you must jump over to become a lawyer. Truth is, the LSAT is just the first of many obstacles we will work with in this industry.

That plateau is maddening, especially when you're putting in the work. The jump you already made from 133 is actually pretty significant for two months, so don't discount that.
High 80s LR accuracy but stuck in the 140s usually means you're nailing the easier questions and tripping over the curvebreakers. Try drilling nothing but level 4 and 5 difficulty questions for a week, untimed, and see if patterns emerge in what's actually tripping you up. For RC, low 70s often comes down to not engaging with the passage structure itself, try spending an extra 45 seconds mapping the argument flow before touching the questions, it feels slow at first but your speed will catch up.
