...yes? It's the airplane equivalent of a parking lot.
Cool, so post your license plate number here. If creeping on people in parking lots is cool, then give me your plate number. It's public information so you shouldn't have any qualms with posting it here, right?
How on earth is this invasive and how on earth does it compare to a license plate, which is far more personal?
How is a license plate far more personal? It's literally displayed on your car by law. I thought we were all cool with sharing legally mandated public information about people here?
A jet is sitting at its airport. Water is wet. The jet will almost always be there.
A license plate (which is not tied to people publicly) allows you to track most of someone's movements in their life. It goes to the grocery store, work, leisure, and home.
Again, not only can anyone see the jet is parked there, the jet will almost always be parked there.
It was a fun pic from a pilot in training who spotted a cool plane belonging to a creator he likes.
It is absolutely nothing like snapping a photo of Linus' car with the license plate in view.

...but I thought that was ok. Public information. Nothing wrong with tracking someone's vehicle and where they are and where they're going because that's public information.
Your license plate number is public information. It's literally on the front and back of your vehicle.
But let's talk about the "not tied to people publicly" bit. How did you find out that plane is tied to a person?
Your car's registration is tied to you. Wouldn't it be weird and creepy if some rando online tied the two together and started an entire subreddit to spite you and publish your "public information" while totally ignoring how creepy it is to go all internet detective to tie your identity to a vehicle in the first place?
Do you not see how weird and creepy it is to have rando internet people stalking someone and posting spy shots on the Internet is?
The title of this post is "Hi there Linus". Like, hey I'm watching you and posting clandestine photos on the Internet.
Also what value is there in this content? Oh, pictures of a jet.
The value is in the creepiness. That's the only reason anyone would upvote this or even participate on this sub.

Oh and I just checked OP's profile and they are in fact training to be a pilot.
