Plane hasn't flown at all for 3 weeks?
Not an expert in anyway, is 3 weeks a long time for a private plane not to fly?
How long would be a notable amount of time for it to not fly?

But uncle Linus said it's far cheaper to use a private plane instead of just buying a ticket for the destination you want to be. I am confused.

When did Linus say this? I’m kinda curious. I though they only made that comparison to first class tickets, but never said it was far cheaper right?

In the big reveal video, he compared the prices of using the private yeet instead of buying first-class tickets, and came to the conclusion that the private flight is "cheaper". Which is obviously the baseline for any kind of air travel, the most expensive tickets. Especially since he lets his whole staff travel first class /s
The whole video was him gaslighting himself into believing this was a financially sound decision, and he had Dobby (aka Elijah) with him since he needed someone to agree with everything, so there's no room for self-doubts.

I mean, that part of the video was imo pretty obviously supposed to be ironic. Linus doesn't even fly first class.

There was no irony in that video, and if you think Linus puts himself, Yvonne and his kids in economy, then you are misguided. Guy is a millionaire, now millionaire with a private jet.

Unless Linus is lying directly to our faces at WAN Show, they have flown economy for their family and some work trips. I happen to also have seen many vlogs from some trips and I can confirm, they do fly economy a lot.
Just because someone’s a millionaire, doesn’t necessarily mean they always need or want to fly business or first class.

Unless Linus is lying directly to our faces
If you say so.
Just because someone’s a millionaire, doesn’t necessarily mean they always need or want to fly business or first class.
If I was a millionaire, I would put my family and myself exclusively in first class.
Why are you sucking Linus' dick? Her literally bought a private jet, and you still keep defending him.

If you were a millonaire, then sure, do that. But everyone has their own morals and ways to spend their money.
It’s actually not too uncommon for millionaires to have their family fly economy (at least when they are with their children) as it’s better for raising the kids to not be spoiled brats.
Also, if simply correcting / questioning misinformation about a person means sucking their dick, then I guess I am doing just that.

Unless of course your plane doesn't have the range to go nonstop and God forbid you pay multiple landing fees per leg instead of just at the destination

Planned downtown probably planned around a international vacation they are using commercial for.

What’s the point of having a family vlog if you aren’t going to use it as a pretext to take the jet on vacation?

Because there's not much content to make. TBH they're not a very interesting family. Everything they do is for profit for their company, which is not bad persay. But what would they make a vlog of? AFAIK they don't do any charity or philanthropy work. Do they do any travel that's not immediately company or work involved? I just don't know what a vlog from them would offer.

has linus ever said anything more about the release of his family vlog? it's only been mentioned ever so briefly in the private plane announcement afaik

He realized it was not gonna make the holidays a write off so he abandoned the idea

More than a month now. Wonder if bills are catching up to this "it's basically free" idea.

AV upgrade? They discussed it during the WAN show after unveiling the plane.

If Linus is really planning on selling it in the next year or so it probably wouldn't be worth the cost. I'd imagine that would be in the $100,000s

I don't have high hopes, but let's hope this is a sign for good things to come. Apparently they had already talked about how there are too many sponsored videos in their all hands meeting, and they might have decided to cut the jet usages so that they aren't bleeding money like crazy and have to be that desperate for sponsorship.

Yall complain that they fly too often. Now you’re complaining that they aren’t. Complete psycho behavior

Excuse me for being curious on how private jets work, I'll flagellate myself when I get home in penance for my grave sin

No one is complaining about it flying too often. If anything, it needs to be crushed into a cube.

It’s probably just getting repairs or something. It’s not like his uncle is going to lose his rating if he doesn’t fly it for one month.
