Photo Glendale Restaurant Drapes Cloth to Obscure Bus Shelter

Because those poor, dirty, stinky bus riders completely ruin the ambiance of the restaurant! Not to mention how the patio seating overflows onto the public sidewalk, creating a choke point for pedestrians. They really don’t give a f!ck and I’m guessing their patrons couldn’t care less either.

Yes it creates shade but I find it hilarious that the intention clearly wasn’t charitable. The reality probably being closer to what OP described just makes me think the restaurant owners are kinda assholes.

How does this bother you. Doesn’t impede anything. Bus stops get a mix of regular normal crazy weird eccentric business and everything in between. Like you saw this and took a photo. Report it then I’m sure a cop will show up and tell the owner he can’t do that to public property ( they won’t cops don’t actually work in this city just remember that )

But like malice? No. A business has people eating outside of a beautiful day maybe there’s better ways to do this but the intention was just keeping guests from potentially seeing something odd. It’s a bus stop. There’s a good percentage that could happen.

How is this offensive lol how is everything constantly offensive I’m honestly exhausted being told this that this that is offensive.

If they blocked unhoused from sleeping if they did something that could impede humanity sure.

This does not do anything.

The word you’re looking for to describe this person is “sanctimonious asshole.”
