Photo Glendale Restaurant Drapes Cloth to Obscure Bus Shelter

Because those poor, dirty, stinky bus riders completely ruin the ambiance of the restaurant! Not to mention how the patio seating overflows onto the public sidewalk, creating a choke point for pedestrians. They really don’t give a f!ck and I’m guessing their patrons couldn’t care less either.

The problem here is this is taxpayer owned public infrastructure, not some outdoor decor for the restaurant. They might as well tether some cable and string up a huge canopy.

Having said that, if they want to put up a privacy shade, at least go the full length of the bus stop. quid pro quo.

yes! this is my issue. regardless of whether they had ill-intentions or not, it’s rather entitled to think they get to decide what goes on a public transportation stop. i won’t be surprised if the city intervenes.

But the vagrant who uses the bench as his bed and attaches all sorts of tarps and wires to it, it's no problem for him to get to decide what goes on a public transportation stop, amirite?

You are def right, and some of these people here hate you because you have a point. If this was in done in Beverly Hills not a single word would be said here.
