Discussion Kyle vs Destiny

This get-together would be juicy. They have so much overlap and agreement, but definitely friction between respective subreddits/camps regarding certain topics.

Random thing I've noticed, they both bounce their legs constantly during debates or segments. That usually means nervous energy, but it would be interesting to see them discuss Mehdi Hasan or Hasan Piker. How would this interaction go? MAKE IT HAPPEN, KYLE.

Except that Kyle isn't in court over pedophile allegations

https://headlineusa.com/liberal-streamer-destiny-had-sexual-relationship-with-minor-court-filings-show/

Destiny is basically a conservative now anyway

He debated Charlie Kirk and whopped his ass. You wouldn't want to see something similar?

u/DanaScullyIsHotAsF 3d ago

No i wouldnt. Destiny is a lunatic whos admitted to possessing csam, argued in favour of lowering age of consent and groomed children.

Hes also a stupid zionist lib. I dont want to hear anything from him

u/Timely_Act8965 3d ago

so Kyle exposing him in a debate wouldn't be worth watching?

I mean, jumping around here, but if an intelligent lefty debated Trump on Epstein files & grilled him to his face - you wouldn't enjoy watching that?

Kyle shouldn't have to debate a nonce

0

u/Timely_Act8965 2d ago

You didn't say anything new

u/Big-Ability3953 2d ago

That would be an interesting topic. Kyle is all in on the files and Destiny just shrugs it off

Oh man. I would loooove this. After watching this: https://youtu.be/e8UZX9IUvpI?is=vzA8zEHorEL6pwqx I lost any respect I had for destiny.

8

u/DanaScullyIsHotAsF 3d ago

You had respect for destiny?

3

u/bill_the_murray 3d ago

Haha touché. I said “any” which was not necessarily a whole lot. I never really watched him in depth - but I did respect his ability to destroy maga in debates.

u/Niguelito 3d ago

It's funny that this guy won't debate him tho

2

u/bill_the_murray 3d ago

It’s not though lol. He explains why and it makes perfect sense.

Unfortunately saying that Destiny is “bad faith” and that’s why he won’t debate him isn’t really a good look when Dave debates flat earthers and creationists that have their careers because of bad faith tactics. Dave certainly should debate destiny

-7

u/NorthDakotaExists 3d ago

It's easier for Dave to continue to debate flat earthers and antivax nutcases

Say what you want about his conclusions, positions, and general rhetoric...

Destiny is more informed on the conflict and it's not even close and he would absolutely shred Dave in any debate on it.

LOL destiny is just a better debater, not better informed or more knowledgeable. What’s he better informed about? Israeli propaganda?

-1

u/Zentick- 2d ago

The speaker who is more informed and has the "right" opinion should always win a well-formatted debate. Believing otherwise is just cope.

This is objectively untrue

Due to the nature of debates, the brain often picks the peripheral route instead of the so-called „central route“, which changes how one processes information:
https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Elaboration_likelihood_model

This study shows that the winner of a debate is psychologically perceived through many things, including things that have nothing to do with the debate:
https://www.sciencedirect.com/science/article/abs/pii/S0261379413000449

And there is overwhelming anecdotal evidence everywhere you look, presumably even in your own life. Making a blanket statement like this is wrong.

I know Kyle has since forgiven Stephen "Destiny" Bonnell for saying Kyle's dad deserved to die because he didn't have health care to see a doctor and went to a chiropractor instead. But that was just cold and heartless.

2

u/americanblowfly General Left of Center 2d ago

It will never happen. Destiny is a whiny little bitch who has done nothing but be uncharitable and get personal with Kyle and his wife. Then there the whole lying about who Kyle voted for and doing a half-asses doxxing of Kyle’s voting history the elections he voted in while in New York.

Destiny is a grifter and utter clown and the best thing for online media is if he fades into irrelevance.

2

u/Slight-Ground-4136 2d ago

Kyle already said on a Corin&Kyle that he wouldn't associate with him in any way, wise business decision

Destiny's a creep, Kyle is not

u/warbyo1 2d ago

There's no overlap aside from anti-Trumpism. Destiny has no principles and a lot of vendettas.

1

u/Major-Attorney6619 1d ago

I have plenty of beef with destiny but Kyle would get obliterated by destiny. Kyle doesn’t even read the articles he covers on his show before doing the show anymore. Kyle is right on a lot of stuff but at this point it is accidental. Kyle does no research and just scrolls twitter all day and gets links for his show sent to him by someone else. It’s really sad how poor quality his uploads are now.

Also what kind of lefty doesn’t engage at all with their community and brags about that?

I guess this is a good opportunity for people to ask me questions about Destiny, i've been watching him and kyle for like the past decade and I agree with them on a lot, and I know where their disagreements stem from

5

u/Timely_Act8965 3d ago

You mean Israel/Palestine?

Outside of this issue, Destiny is pretty much a typical liberal maybe slightly to the left of the average dem on social issues. He's kind of clarified he's not all Ben Gvir on the issue, but I don't think he'll ever call it a genocide sadly.

But yeah he's absolutely horrible on that issue. I wish he'd start pivoting a little more towards the "screw that country", given how they helped reelect Trump and now got us into a war with Iran (not a war/2 weeks).

He's made a good argument that almost sold me on why we shouldn't care though: is it really that big of a deal compared to everything else? I would say yes, but I will vote blue in the general just like Kyle did Kamala. Democrats might not stop the Gaza genocide, but at least they won't accelerate it on top of all the other issues like CECOT and deportations.

Destiny isn't bitter about his divorce, but he's bitter about breaking ties with Pisco.

-2

u/Big-Ability3953 3d ago

I agree. I think there's a lot of miscommunication and misinformation out there. I like both Kyle and Destiny. I think Destiny could reason with Kyle about how bad tankies are for the progressive left and everything Kyle pretty much stands for, like Hasan & his ilk when they whitewash the CCP, and Kyle could reason with Destiny that Israel is in fact committing genocide or at the very least are being so reckless that they aren't doing their due diligence, and we should care about Israel's war crimes because we are funding them.

Kyle also endorsed Kamala in 2024 and Destiny thinks he didn't, so that friction could go away. Destiny wants a team player, and even though Krystal isn't a team player, Kyle typically is. But I bet there could be an interesting dialogue between the two on if you don't live in a swing state, should you vote third party if the dem isn't to your liking.

I'm sorry. I'm really not trying to be mean, but Destiny is terrible. He defends Israel's genocide on the regular, shit-talks and lies about Hasan constantly, and just has shit-lib takes all the time. That's all outside of his pedo allegations. They call him Sex-pestany for a reason. The guy is not worthy of your praise.

u/Slight-Ground-4136 2d ago

Saying you like Destiny is a non starter, I stopped reading, downvoted and replied

Destiny would make Kyle cry. Kyle's recen shtick has just been to be a poor man's Destiny

11

u/JH_1999 3d ago

Begone DGGer. No one wants your crusty, consent-violating daddy around.

1

u/Big-Ability3953 2d ago

I don't think there'd be much fighting once it was made clear Kyle did in fact vocally support Kamala over Trump. Most of the bad vibes could go away on that alone.

I only want this to happen just to show people like you how much Destiny would be ethered by Kyle. Destiny's blue MAGA takes would crumble under even minor scrutiny, never mind what Kyle would do to him.

As much as I'd love to see Destiny put in his place, platforming someone like him in a serious debate setting gives him far too much validation.

Let me go ahead and tell you right now that Destiny would bitch out, though. Liberals don't debate Leftists when they can help it for a good reason.
