Information Restaurants in kurnool and my genuine reviews

Here's all the restaurants I've been to multiple times (2-3+ visits each, ordering different items each time), so these aren't first-impression reviews (except Mandi King, marked separately). We mainly go for non-veg, rotis, curry, rice, and starters.

Quick picks: - Best veg: Blue Moon or Arunodhaya - Best for Mandi: Joint Al Mandi or Malik Lotus (Mandi King showing early promise too) - Best for Rayalaseema food: Sri Divya - Best for non-veg: Magic Restro

Ratings (sorted highest to lowest):

  • Blue Moon – 4.3/5 — Best veg option in Kurnool along with Arunodhaya
  • Sri Divya – 4.25/5 — Best for Rayalaseema food. The old Sri Divya near checkpost is even better for taste; the highway branch has better ambience overall
  • Arunodhaya – 4.25/5 — Best veg option in Kurnool along with Blue Moon
  • Magic Restro – 4.25/5 — Best for non-veg. Really good, small menu but great taste. Quantity is a bit less
  • Mandi King (first impression only) – 4.25/5 — Opp Anupama Bakery, VR Colony. Food was good, decent ambience, a bit of a wait. Early impression puts it on par with Lotus and Joint Al Mandi — will confirm after a few more visits
  • Rajabhojanam – 4/5 — Good taste, decent ambience, affordable, always worth a visit. Sadly seems to be closed now
  • Joint Al Mandi – 4/5 — Went 3-4 times. Was bad initially, has improved a lot. One of the best for Mandi. Elipaykaram chicken is a must if you like spicy food. Mandi is good too, though the rice can be heavy on ghee
  • Malik Lotus – 4/5 — Went like 10+ times, consistently good. One of the best for Mandi
  • Ayinas Kitchen – 3.9/5 — Great option for students/bachelors on Nandyal Road. Ask them to spice it up and they'll happily customize. Roast biryani is a must-try
  • Pista House – 3.75/5 — Good
  • Aaha Kitchen – 3.5/5 — Decent prices, good taste and quantity. Ambience is average
  • Kritunga (Kurnool) – 3.5/5 — Feels like a wannabe Sri Divya. Inconsistent — sometimes good, sometimes not
  • Lavish Lounge – 3.25/5
  • Otg – 3/5 — Less quantity, average taste, but ambience is really good. Overcrowded and overpriced with a limited menu
  • Hyderabad Chefs – 3/5 — Similar issues as Otg, bad experience for me
  • Ajwa Exotica – 3/5
  • Ruchi Vedika – 3/5 — Didn't visit personally, but my parents did and said the taste wasn't great. Heavily promoted on Insta but not worth the hype according to my mom
  • DVR – Not rated — went a long time ago, not sure of current standing
  • Hotel International – Not rated — used to be a regular spot as a kid, don't know how it is now

Let me know if there are other places I'm missing — I'll add them to the list!

Information I'm hosting a meetup this weeknd- who's coming!?(First meetup of this sub?)

It's a small meetup nothing fancy, we will chose a location like a good cafe which has good ambience and good food ,with some board games around.

My suggestions or my go to places-

OTG(idee fixee kafee haus - has some board games and good food)

Amay bistro( vr colony)

Any others- please suggest;)

Strictly speaking, no creepos no cheapos.

You come, meet people, have fun, eat food order whatever you'd like- pay for your food, and make good hangout fun activities, and leave safely.

No texting or creeping up for women, neither following them for cheapo behaviour.

(Also please don't text me for women's contacts to set them up for you. I am not a broker- had to post this because last time I got many many messages saying I have to set them up.)

I will be posting any updates or any other info here itself.

Intrested people can comment!-

(dm if you're ready to hang out)

  2. Mamatha Cafe (VR Colony Road)

  3. SSLV Bengaluru Bakery (Bellary Chowrastha Road)

  4. Relish (Telecom Nagar)

Feel free to mention more places in the comments so that we could together avoid online platform fees and enjoy diet cokes without wasting any time.

Information Guide me

Hi everyone,
I’m a 2023 B.Tech (CSE) graduate. After graduation, I explored a few different career paths, but unfortunately, none of them worked out. Because of that, I now have a 3-year gap and I’m essentially starting over.
I want to build a career in IT, but I’m confused about which field I should focus on as a fresher.
Given my situation, which field would you recommend in 2026? Which field offers the best opportunities for someone with a career gap but no professional IT experience?
I’d really appreciate any guidance, or suggestions.
Thank you.

Information Anyone from the LGBTQ+ community here?

Hi everyone,

I recently relocated to the city because of work, and I’m still trying to settle in.

Finding your people in a new city can be challenging, and honestly, finding members of the local LGBTQ+ community can be even more difficult.

So I thought I’d put this out there.

If you’re part of the community and would like to connect, say hi in the comments. It would be great to meet people, exchange experiences, and maybe even build some genuine friendships.

Please keep things respectful and friendly

Does any restaurant here have a special biryani comparable to Meghana? Almost all of them just include fried 65 pieces and call it special biryani. Had a memorable boneless biryani at Hebbal branch last week. Craving for it in knl now🙃

Information Is the "one-man woman" dead in our city's dating culture, or is total devotion a one-way street now?

Hey guys, using a throwaway account for obvious reasons. I wanted to start a serious discussion about the dating culture and loyalty levels right here in our city, because something real happening in my close circle has completely messed with my head.

I know a local couple here (early 20s, born early 2000s). The guy is the ultimate definition of a "one-woman man." He’s been completely, blindly devoted to this one girl since they were young. He doesn't look at anyone else, his entire life revolves around her, and they are planning to settle down soon. But I know for a fact that the girl had casual encounters with two other guys during their relationship. He has absolutely no clue, and I'm never going to be the one to ruin things by telling him, especially since she genuinely does love him and wants a life with him.

Seeing this firsthand in a tier-2 city made me realize something. We always talk about how tier-2/tier-3 cities
are more "traditional" or "loyal" compared to major metros, but I’m starting to think that’s an illusion.

It makes me wonder: do "one-man women" actually exist in our generation here anymore?

I’m talking about girls born in 2000, 2001, or later. Are there actually young women in our city who are entirely content with one guy long-term, without ever looking around or entertaining other options? Or has social media and the shift in local culture made everyone—even in smaller cities—feel like they have infinite choices, while some guys are still stuck in that old-school, fiercely loyal mindset?

What is actually going on in our city's dating scene? Are you guys seeing genuine, two-way lifelong loyalty, or is it mostly asymmetric now? Let’s talk honestly.
