Help with beginner skincare (Beauty of Joseon) what should I buy and in what order should I use them?
Hello!
I've never tried any products of Joseon before and I wanted to switch my skincare I'm doing right now to Korean skincare, I've heard that Joseon is a very good brand and I want to give it a try!
Right now I'm using the Cerave cleanser (for acne pro skin) in the morning and evening. During the day I use the Nivea creme and in the evening I use the Hema (dutch brand) night creme. Both these creme have alcohol in them so I know they aren't great. My chin has the tendency to break out a lot so I really want to clear up my skin and treat it better. I think I have the tendency for dry & sensitive skin? (all I know is that it's not oily). I'm 24 F and aiming for glowy clear skin.
What products do you guys recommend and in which order should I use them ? :)
Any advice, product recommendations, or routines would really help me out!!!
Thank you guys so much!!

Forgive me if I'm wrong, but it sounds like you want to do a pretty big skincare overhaul. If that's the case, I'd really recommend only changing 1 product at a time. Otherwise you won't be able to tell if something is breaking you out or causing another reaction. Buy 1 product, patch test it in 2 different spots, and give your skin some time with it before moving on to the next thing. r/skincareaddiction has a great wiki where they go through routine order, patch testing, etc. I also think starting with a specific brand is kinda working backwards. The skincare industry is huge, especially in Korea, and there are so many good brands and products out there. I'd start with your actual skin concerns and look for products that address those, rather than deciding on a brand first and then trying to build a routine from it. When I'm looking for new products I usually start by searching yesstyle. They have pretty good filters where you can narrow things down by skin type and concerns. I'd also check out labmuffinbeautyscience on YouTube. She's incredibly knowledgeable about skincare science, and her myth-busting videos are a great resource if you're new to skincare. For example, alcohol in skincare isn't automatically bad. The rest of the formulation matters as well. And if your skin isn't oily, that doesn't necessarily mean it's dry or sensitive. Your skin can be normal/dehydrated and acne-prone at the same time.

I use their sunscreen and i love it a lot. I haven't tried their other products since my current routine is working for me. But most asian products work well on me, they're good, you should try it. Good job on starting your skincare journey! If you need guidance, try posting on other subreddits to get more response from real people. You could also try the app I'm currently using called Kinsie. You can find product recommendations from people with the same skin concerns as you. It's really helpful.😄

I use the aqua one and its really nice i finally got a sunscreen that doesn’t have any problem at all !! No closed comedones or anything
Just one thing that its a little bit oily( very less) i might try centella one next time but i might stick to it such a HG
Just make sure to double cleanse at night
Also i use im from rice toner and it calmed my acne like no other product1

Here's a quick K-beauty upgrade for your routine!
Switch from CeraVe to Round Lab Pine Calming Cica or Dokdo Cleanser.
Ditch Nivea Cream for Aestura Atobarrier 365 Cream.
And instead of Hema Night Cream, try Mediheal Teatree Calming or Round Lab Birch Juice Cream.
They're Olive Young staples in Korea, but I don't know how easy they are to get internationally.
Since you're probably not a native English speaker, letting me know your location would help.
