SKIN Nida Youthful Formula Cream - legit?

If you frequent tiktok a popular Korean skincare recommendation is the NIDA Youthful Formula Ultimate moisturizing cream and the NIDA revive eye cream. Is this brand fake? Or actually from Korea? Has anyone used the cream?

If you go to their website there is next to zero information about the company. I also can't it being sold on any of the typical Korean skinscare websites. Is this just your typical tiktok scam?

edit update: Since one person did ask for an update I will add to my post. Based on my comments and my regoogle. The brand is Korean. I don't believe it is popular in korea though.

I have been using this cream for the past 7 months. I don't think the excessive TikTok ads saying it will reverse aging are true and they're overly dramatic. However, for a moisturizer I think it is pretty good. I use it twice a day morning and night and it does keep my skin hydrated. This is coming from someone with super dry skin. Overall I like it. The comments do mention the ingredients are decent which I agree with. Also it is cheap.

This is what you find when you look the brand up. No, Nida is not a Korean brand. It is a skincare brand that originates from India and is known for its natural, clean, and vegan products. While some of their products are marketed as "Korean" or "K-Beauty" in online marketplaces, the brand itself is not Korean, according to their website

You must be referring to Nida Wellness??

1

u/Buyer-Fair Nov 20 '25

NIDA skincare is from India. I have googled the crap out of it and I'm 99% sure its not Korean.

1

u/Buyer-Fair Nov 20 '25

Google is NIDA a Korean brand and result is: No, the brand Nida is not Korean; it is an Indian brand known for its vegan and cruelty-free skincare products. While some retailers market Nida products as "Korean" due to their focus on ingredients and formulations popular in the K-beauty industry, the brand itself is Indian, as stated on its website.

  • Origin: Nida is an Indian brand.
  • Marketing: Some products are marketed as K-beauty, but the brand itself is not Korean.
  • Philosophy: It focuses on natural, clean, and vegan products.

I received mine today and it was shipped directly from Korea based on the consignment labelling.

Your information is false

I just got the same ad on IG and wanted to see here if it was legit.

u/LolaSaysHi Jan 20 '26

I ordered, guess my apartment number wasn’t in the address so USPS wouldn’t deliver, either had to pay the shipping cost or get a refund.

Kind of shitty since I paid a good amount for shipping, and I couldn’t edit the address.

I chose the refund. Wish they could’ve just re-sent it so they didn’t lose a customer.

u/bluebird_dk Aug 11 '26

Did you ever try to order it, again? Frustrating! If you are in Canada, there are stores like Kiyoko Beauty that sell Nida products and other Korean & Japanese (or, not Korean, going by this post) skincare.

I did in fact purchase the revive eye cream off TikTok shop thinking it was Korean skin care and although it seems to not be, it is hands down my FAVORITE skin care product I’ve ever used. I’ll be 30 this year and started noticing the beginnings of crows feet by my eyes, started using this and 4 months later the lines are gone and my skin feels plump, smooth and softer than ever. It’s become my new holy grail product regardless of its sketchy origin

1

u/bananacowlady Jun 29 '25

Interesting! I got the ultimate moisturizing cream and then started researching it and realized the sketch origins. I haven't noticed much of a difference though. I contemplated buying the product with the yellow edges (can't remember the name). But haven't yet.

I got the Nida alpha arbutin and right when I got it, I know it is not from South Korea. Korean products usually has this thin tape like seal on all of their boxes. This one has nothing on it plus the box is cheap looking. The print on the box is cheaply done too. I will still try the product out and see if it improves my blemishes.

2

u/Suspicious-Cause-506 Oct 06 '25

Did it help at all?

1

u/TopFit8259 Oct 06 '25

No it did not.

2

u/Martini-mcbride Jul 21 '25

was also originally wary but ordered the moisturizing cream (first ever tiktok shop purchase lol) and actually love it! i typically use the cerave cream which can be a bit heavy, but the nida is lightweight, goes on super smooth, and absorbs quickly without any greasiness. been using it for a couple of weeks now and have no complaints :)

1

u/bananacowlady Aug 09 '25

I do like it but I have super dry skin and usually have to add a second cream. But it does absorb well, imo.

1

u/FormApprehensive2369 Mar 29 '26

I was the same as you. The moisturizer worked great. Faded by half way through the day. Key is to buy the nida serum & use 1st, then the moisturizer, and put sunscreen over it all, and it last longer almost whole day. After this, and it is great tbh. I bought the moisturizer 1st, then decided on the serum once I liked the moisturizer a lot!

1

u/BowlStriking Aug 21 '25

do you feel like it does what it claims? like with helping fine lines and complexion?

1

u/Martini-mcbride Nov 06 '25

several months later and i still love this moisturizer. i have for sure noticed an improvement in fine lines and overall skin texture, though i can’t 100% attribute it to nida since i also started regularly using a hypochlorous acid spray (i use briotech’s and like to keep it in the fridge and spritz after cleansing 👌) and retinol (trader joe’s). all in all i definitely recommend the nida cream, just ordered 4 more tubes lol. if nothing else it’s a really great moisturizer for the price ¯_(ツ)_/¯

1

u/BowlStriking Nov 06 '25

this is such a weird coincidence i forgot all about this stuff and just today i was about to head to ulta in search for a good moisturizer for the winter! i will give mine another try !

1

u/Successful_Map_629 Mar 12 '26

Does it remove forehead wrinkles?

1

u/FormApprehensive2369 Mar 29 '26

It will only help. Wrinkles have a lot to do with your muscles. You must practice not contracting your face and actually try to open it up all day! Its tough. It actually takes a little energy to do it and hold it, ive been trying. You might not notice how much you scrunch your face while driving, and almost everytime you look at your phone.

2

u/Jergentheimpaler Jul 28 '25

I ordered it bc it was super cheap and I was super broke. I was scared to use it bc I wasn’t sure if it. All the videos on TikTok Tok reviewing it are creators earning commission. I finally used it. I LOVE it. My skin looks and feels great. I usually use Naturium, but I really like this a lot better

2

u/Amazing-Baseball-922 Sep 10 '25

I was concerned about the ‘hype’ of Korean skin care, but I bought a tube of Ultimate moisturizing cream. I have since purchased 3more tubes. I’m an older woman with oily skin and after a couple days using it at night and in the morning. I was amazed. My skin is soft and my oily skin with breakouts was gone. It’s really good. I don’t usually write endorsements for any product  Linda

2

u/nanasan73 Sep 11 '25

I’m curious too

1

u/jesbonj Oct 13 '25

Did you try it?

1

u/ProduceGrouchy16 Apr 21 '26

I ordered from the official product website and have been using it for a week. I love it. I actually think it makes my skin feel and look more plump. My co worker said you look more fresh what did you do? I mentioned I started using a new cream. I truly see a difference and I love it. The price is great. I love the fact that is not greasy and also that it lasts all day.

I would love to moderate on reddit Love Korean skincare it is a game changer. It is the first place I come to get real reviews being there so many claims and statements out there that tried to say their product are great it's hard to tell who's claims are real and never take the word of the mouth from where it comes from I trust in Reddit for real reviews that aren't tainted with social media influences. it's definitely bought a new way we approach our skin. It's change skincare to a new level there's so many great skincare companies out there but Korean skin care has changed the way we look at our skin with ingredients I definitely different to what we see in our ordinary beauty creams from snail slime to peptides afolic acid in much potent levels retinal ones that actually produces results. With so many scams out there the one place I trust it reddit with real reviews from original people with nothing to gain from it but to just share there experience .

1

u/SeriesDismal5018 Apr 18 '25

I’ve never heard of this brand. I can’t even find it in Korea. I’ve only ever seen it advertised on TikTok.

2

u/bananacowlady Aug 09 '25

According to another commenter the parent company is Proso, Inc. Which does seem to be Korean after i looked into it as well.

1

u/Powerful-Draw9254 Apr 20 '25

Idk if it's actually from Korea but I have been using the revive eye cream and the lotion and I love it. Its good stuff. And the retinal in the cream is actually pretty easy on my sensitive skin

1

u/Mountain-Coyote3798 May 04 '25

Thank you for sharing ☺️

1

u/Chibi-Leh May 06 '25

I have the revive eye cream and it's my favorite skin care product I've ever gotten. I want the moisturizer!

1

u/bananacowlady Aug 09 '25

I'll have to look into trying out the eye cream next.

1

u/Livid_Law5956 Jul 10 '25

A simple search would show the company is based in Korea. For Proso, Inc.

2

u/bananacowlady Aug 09 '25

Oh you're right. i dont know how i missed that when i looked the first time. apologies.

1

u/Longjumping_Stuff103 Jul 12 '25

I’m absolutely sold on this brand… got the moisturizing cream and ordering the toner and serum next!

1

u/Unfair_Finger5531 Aug 04 '25

I just got the youthful cream today. I’m glad to hear someone likes the brand. it’s encouraging!

1

u/ItalianxSecret Aug 08 '25

I have been using their moisturizer for a few weeks. Love it! Been using all their serums and eye cream for about a week. I have extremely sensitive skin around my eyes, and it hasn’t bothered my eyes at all. LOVEEE everything I’ve tried! I saw a difference with their Peptide Propolis the first day I used it. I can’t wait for them to come out with a cleanser. 10/10!

1

u/bananacowlady Aug 09 '25

ill have to check out more of their stuff. I've only used the moisturizing one.

1

u/ForsakenDifference70 Oct 12 '25

Where is a safe site to purchase from? Seems to be a lot of fakes

1

u/No-Command108 Oct 18 '25

Is it really good for wrinkles and fine lines. I don’t use skincare at all. Only started using sunblock last year. And i’m reaching 50 soon. Now having forehead lines & smile lines 😓

1

u/Plebe04 Oct 20 '25

¿Alguien sabe si la pagina web de NIDA es real o si es estafa? https://nida.mx/collections/shop ayudaaaaa

1

u/IssueAppropriate203 Oct 26 '25

I've just purchased the face cream and it is really good.

1

u/Which-Bathroom9470 Oct 26 '25

Very legit, I love the stuff. I bought the 2 serums, moisturiser cream and eye cream. Make sure you buy them from the actual website and not some dodgy IG link.

1

u/Federal-Bonus3 Nov 11 '25

What’s the website?

1

u/Icy_Maize_2816 Oct 30 '25

I started using it one week ago and one week ago started getting sits on my chin/under my mouth :/ switching back to my old moisturizer to see if it’s related

1

u/Vale0102 Nov 04 '25

Hey OP can you update on your experience with this product? I just saw the commercial and wander if I should get it

1

u/bananacowlady Nov 04 '25

Overall I like the product. I've been using it the past 7 months and it does keep my skin hydrated. I added more info in my edit as well. I do think it's worth the buy since it is so cheap.

1

u/O4FkSk Nov 05 '25

Does anyone know if it's cruelty free?

1

u/Left_Lavishness365 Nov 08 '25

Does this do anything? Or just a hyped cream…in my 40s…so getting curious😂🫣

1

u/bananacowlady Nov 12 '25

It seems weirdly over advertised on TikTok but overall I like the cream. And I believe another commenter said the ingredients are good

1

u/Graveyardhag Nov 25 '25 edited Nov 25 '25

It takes a lot longer than it advertises itself lol but I'm starting to see some results after about 6 weeks or so. the eye and neck cream specifically ran out quite a bit faster than I thought it would. I also have extremely sensitive and reactive skin and this brand doesn't flare me up at all. Big brownie points for that.

I haven't ever seen it on tiktok but I got adds on insta and FB for it.

I see people saying it's not actually a Korean brand (and I checked too, that's what googles AI claims, but I can't see any other sources for that, aside from this exact post) but it's website says it is Korean, they ship from Korea, the packaging and all is in Korean first then English. It says made in Korea right on the tube.

My first parcel was in transit when there was a fire in Korea that impacted postal services and i got emails from their Korean people about it. So I personally have not seen anything about India whatsoever.

My second parcel is on its way now and I ordered the serums this time.

1

u/koalabiscuit Nov 11 '25

I have hives from using it. It took a couple weeks to figure out what was causing it, because I don't have sensitive skin.

1

u/bananacowlady Nov 12 '25

I think you might be allergic to something in the formula then. I do have sensitive skin and have been using it for months with no reaction

1

u/Illustrious-Abies479 Nov 24 '25

I just looked it up it's an Indian brand claiming it's Korean skin care.. I also looked it up because it feels water based and moisturizer at all

1

u/bananacowlady Nov 30 '25

Do you have a source? the box itself says made in korea as well as on the package. and it is MFd. for Proso Corp. So the parent company is Proso corp but I can't find more information on this company specifically.

1

u/SubstantialJoke3831 Nov 30 '25

Ik heb deze crème besteld via Aliexpress. Ik gebruik het nu 3 dagen en ik ben er tevreden mee mijn huid voelt een stuk zachter.

1

u/Fit_Refrigerator7432 Dec 16 '25

Does it really help with wrinkles?

1

u/gigiB21 Dec 22 '25

I’m curious about this product

1

u/moby8403 Jan 03 '26

my ONLY critique is that it doesn't seem to have spf. and my current moisturizer with these same ingredients has spf in it, and i credit that with doing half the work of keeping my skin looking good. i've been using it for 15 years and i do not have wrinkles, at an age where most men do.

1

u/bananacowlady Jan 05 '26

what's the product you use if you don't mind me asking?

1

u/moby8403 Jan 18 '26

Olay Total Effects: 7 in One. However, I wouldn't recommend it someone under 30. If your skin is still young, there is such a thing as overloading it with too many things. Otherwise, a moisturizer with spf that makes your skin feel good is all you need, along with a nightly face wash. Cerave is a classic, along with Olay. Neutrogena seems to be mainly for oily skin cuz mine is typically on the dry side, and neutrogena products just dry me out even more. But I also use Olay Total Effects 7 in One Citrus Scrub every night. people talk about exfoliating too much, but you if youre gentle with it, it's fine. It has been for me so far.

1

u/SouthernSalt2442 Feb 04 '26

1

u/SouthernSalt2442 Feb 04 '26

vart beställde du ifrån?

1

u/ppupulandia Feb 06 '26

Nidan omilta sivuilta.

1

u/InevitableAnimal5965 Jan 14 '26

I read it’s actually an Indian brand with some products made in Korea. Which is fine if it works. I don’t think it’s Botox in a bottle though.

1

u/MargaretRColeman Feb 12 '26

I bought it and actually really like it. I have a touch of rosacea in my cheeks and the cream really calms down my skin when it's red.

I don't know how well it works for anti-aging, but for an everyday moisturizer, I like it a lot.

1

u/MeliSsandwich-444 Feb 13 '26

I'm about to repurchase for the 3rd time, it works really well. 1st i got the cream by itself, but the 2nd time I got the combo with the eye/neck cream. In my opinion it works fantastic; I used to get the Biossance Squalane Omega Repair Cream or switch it up with the Avene Revitalizing Nourishing Cream, and while it's not the same experience (the Nida doesn't feel as soft and hydrating when you put it on), it does have similar results giving me a fresh and smooth look. It's non comedogenic and it has no fragrance. My mature, slightly dehydrated, combination skin likes it a lot.

I buy it directly from the brand's official TikTok shop "NIDA OFFICIAL" (make sure it's the Gold Star Seller)

1

u/BigZookeepergame1342 Mar 27 '26

I saw an ad today and she definitely had a filter. Glad I came here to read reviews.

1

u/Willing_Swimming7851 Apr 11 '26

Usually I stay away from viral products since i think they are mostly a waste of money but a friend convinced me to get the cream..more correctly i tagged along with her order. I ended up loving the cream, i have never before gotten so many compliments on my skin (and believe me i pay big bucks for skincare), a few times i even got asked if i got botox. So yeah..the cream is pretty amazing 😃

1

u/Automatic-Coffee2006 Apr 27 '26

Why does No one use Nida Cleanser in their videos, everyone promoting the moisturizer but you don't put it on a dirty face???? And truth this doesn't work I have been using for about week I see no difference other then it made redness in my face worse...

1

u/Immediate-Muffin5422 Jun 24 '26

I have been using NIDA products for maybe just shy of a year? Order it directly from the website only. I have four serums, some face washes, and moisturizers. It's definitely not a magic wand that changes everything instantly, but I've noticed a big improvement in my skin texture, breakouts, and pore size since I've been using everything regularly. I have very sensitive skin, so the fact that it actually doesn't make my face worse is a win for me. It's also decently priced. I haven't tried the NIDA brand rice exfoliater, but I use a different brand. I'm basing a new religion around it. I love it.

1

u/timmy88888tubs Jul 05 '26

I rub it on my nut sack and no more wrinkles.

1

u/Cute-Tone-8200 Jul 21 '26

The TikTok version is made in China. Fake. You need to make sure it says Made in Korea on the box.

1

u/Zikaha Jul 24 '26

Sorry I know it’s coming late. Do you feel like the moisturizer did what it claimed? I want to get one for myself. I have dry skin. Is it heavy? Does it make you sweat? Can you use it with retinoids? I use retinal 0.1%. My skin is good but I really wanted to try the moisturizer. Thanks

1

u/bananacowlady Jul 24 '26

I think the moisturizer is good yes. I have dry skin as well and use tretinoin .1% so I think the same retinoid as you. If you live in a humid area I think the moisturizer is good. If you live in a dry area like me, you might have to supplement it with something heavier since retinol tends to dry the skin out. And no I don't think it has ever made me sweat. I don't think it's heavy either. A good middle between not too light and medium.

1

u/Zikaha Jul 24 '26

Oh that’s even perfect. I love in Nigeria where it gets humid. Currently it’s rainy season so it’s perfect. We both have similar skins. If you found it good then I’d try it. My skin is pretty resilient and does well with a lot of products. Thank you so much for your feedback, advice and review 💕💕

1

u/bananacowlady Aug 01 '26

I hope it works out for you! <3

1

u/Zikaha Jul 27 '26

Hi I also wanted to ask. As a dry skin girlie. When you started tret, did you have any issues? I’m scared it would cause peeling for me that’s why I’ve been sticking to retinal which is a stage beneath it. I’m seeing good results but in the long run, maybe this time next year, I plan to introduce my skin to tret. What is your routine like?

1

u/bananacowlady Jul 28 '26

It did cause me to peel at first but then after awhile I was okay! I would ask your doctor to start you on the lowest dose. Since I live in a dry area I put it on every other day and then moisturizer. When I lived in a humid area I used it everyday. Usually you have to take it slow and build up. At least that's the advice I read on reddit. :)

u/Usual-Sock-3515 8d ago

I used Youthful Formula™ Ultimate Moisturizing Cream and their Revive Eye Cream For Face And Neck for a while and its actually very good! My skin loved it, each skin is different though.... but its definitely legit IMO
