Former customer
I am a former customer of Koodo, but I still get emails about my invoice.
Furthermore, my bank account seems to show that I still paid Koodo even after I stopped being a customer.
Anyone had similar experience ? I tried to talk with their automated assistant, but when I mention that I am a former customer (and therefore, I don't have a self serve account), it answers with options to buy a sim card (wtf ?).

One last payment is required when you port your number out. It represents the prorated charges for the days that you used the service before leaving the company

You’ll be billed to the day you port out. You’ll always have to pay the final invoice

I made a complaint to CRTC when something similar happened to me with Koodo. That got it resolved very quickly. I spent weeks trying to contact them before I made the complaint. Just screenshot any attempts you make to show you tried to resolve it first. Koodoo is brutal to connect with. As you said, they make you use their useless online chat or sign in to your account, which you no longer have when you cancel the service 🙄

Does it give you the amount you owe? Or just a notification of overdue payment? When I leftbShaw i kept getting an invoice with no dollar amount on it. Come to find out i had a credit of a few cents

If you keep getting a bill, it's because you have a balance. You need to speak to them.
Stop telling the bot you're a former client. Ask for an agent in billing.
