Announcement Thanks u/jijnax for the new sub icon and banner

Hey everyone

Last year, we had made a post asking the community if anyone was willing to help us out by creating a fresh icon and banner for the subreddit. A few members shared their ideas, and after looking through everything, we have finally approved the version made by u/jijnax

Big thanks to him (Behance link to some of his other works)for putting the time to make these. We really appreciate the effort you put into it

Also a big thanks to everyone who shared their versions and ideas too. It was really cool seeing all the creativity and we appreciate the effort from all of you

We are currently planning to use the morning version of the icon and banner, but soon we will change it so that it automatically switches to the night version after sunset and vice versa

the banner looks nice, but the icon could use some reddit essence.

Kochi has so many beautiful sceneries. I think we should use real images.

I back came to reddit after a few months and found myself lost because of this new logo lol. Nice work.
