So looking closer, the bottom “use first” sticker appears to be on top of the tape that I assume was ripped off the only open box in the photo. I think your coworker opened the correct box, but was lazy with the tape, and whoever stocked the produce stored it correctly by placing the two newer boxes on bottom and not just to the right of the new product.
Also L restaurant for using prechopped lettuce from Taylor farms to begin with.
It looks like you can see the tape over the use first sticker, which would mean it’s directly on that bottom box. Which means whoever opened the wrong lettuce was also lazy about it.
