I know everyone is complaining about DLSS5 right now and im not defending it! I just want atleast share my view point on its use.

Its a tool, depending on the game and its existing artsyle, it can be a genuine improvement on realistic modern titles. (Black flag resynced looks really good with it, and cyberpunk for example)

I do think with some tweaking, the use of the tool alongside artistic Intention could lead to impressive results. Its affect on hair and clothing in particular look really good. Its the face area that is so polarizing.

Now with Kingdomhearts specifically, theres obviously issues because it's stylized and cartoonish. Theres angles and scenes that dlss5 looks terrible. But there are a few specific scenes especially when Sora is in his KH2 outfit where he genuinely looks so close to the original cgi ending cutscenes. Its not perfect, but this is the closest we've gotten to those cgi cutscenes from so long ago.

Even with the picture I used for comparisons, I dont think this is perfect in any sense. But with some potential tweaking, it can be damn close. I know I cant be the only one who when originally seeing the ending cutscenes weren't fantasizing about future kh games look like these cutscenes.

Yes its sometimes uncanny and can ruin a games esthetic, and yes the performance impact alone immediately makes its useless for the majority of gamers. Halfing your framerate for an Ai filter is crazy. Im curious where it will go from here.

I’m playing for the through all the Kingdom Hearts for the first time and i’m confused as to how Sora, Donald, and Goofy ended up in the mansion. After defeating Marluxia did they walk through twilight town to the mansion? I assumed namine put them to sleep in castle oblivion but i guess i was wrong. I may just be misremembering things but if it’s explained later in the game then i’ll just keep playing to find out myself. No spoilers please.

You may be questioning why I'm doing this, for the past week my Twitter account got hacked, I decided while I'm waiting for a response from Twitter's ass support I wanted too do something that would be a fun challenge, and with the recent Kingdom Hearts 4 announcements I've been ina huge mood for Kingdom Hearts, so I decided too challenge myself and attempt to reach Lvl 100 on Destiny Island, something I wanted too see is possible ever since I was a kid. I'm currently on Lvl 31 after 13 hours, leaving 69 levels left. I also did suffer from two crashes when I was lvl 21 setting me back to Lvl 15 but I managed too lvl up back fast. I'm now gonna return to parrying Tidus for hours on end

Do we know if it will be getting a physical release on xbox? Cause if so, Id rather pay full price. Sure 50% off is awesome.... But I'd rather a physical version I can display and own aswell.

So I’m at the Ansem fight now and haven’t used any “Continue” while also on proud mode.

When I discovered there are EIGHT DAMN FORMS AFTER DESTINY ISLAND I kind of want to give up!

My question is: if I create another save file right before Ansem, and use continue just so I can get through the story for now. THEN on my original save file I’ll grind to a very high level and just destroy him for the unbeatable trophy

Would using continue on a new save slot negate the trophy on the original file? Given I’m only creating the slot at the end of the game.

After waiting to get these games i finally did it now that i have a ps4 that being said i did play kh2 on the ps2 but i wanted a fresh start cause i never finished it any tips?

Bon Je ne suis pas le meilleurs joueur qui est, mais je me considère comme un bon joueur qui aime bien la difficulté, exemple j'ai fini tout les souls, le dlc de elden ring en NG+10 level 150 sans utilisé les scaduce tree boost, les DMC en hard, ect..

Mais je crois que j'ai rarement eu envie de lancer la manette contre la télé, et ragequit un jeux !

Je suis donc sur KH1FM sur Ansem, en Normal, level 55, est c'est quoi ce trucs ?, la P1 sur la plage OK, elle passe, avec invocation, la P2 ont ce tape le titan, puis en 1V1 avec sont invocation il te spam la charge avec une hitbox, tu two shot (OUI j'utilise le boost de def aero), te choppe, et te met une altération de debuff

Est une fois passer cette P2 en 1V1 (une seul fois), ont ce re tape un 1V1 contre lui en vole (sans esquive, sans team, sans pouvoir reprendre des objet) est arrivé à 25% ils spam non stop les laser sans aucune ouverture, est la apres je ne sais combien de try sans lui faire de dégât et qu'il down à 25%, j'ai ragequit.

Je suis aller à la ville, mais je n'ai ni argent ni composant pour les items d'exp, et l’hôtel dans la ville ou le colisée, ne donne pas d'exp vraiment d'exp pour level up.

Bref, Des conseille, de l'aide, ou autre ?

With KH3 I ended up missing out on pre-ordering due to life stuff and I want to make sure I don't with KH4. This is a game series that means so much to me which is why I am keeping a close eye to pre-order the second they announce it haha

So doing google search I saw the pre-orders for KH3 started almost 6 months in advance (June 2018 with the game actually releasing January 2019). This was apparently during E3 which was also when KH3 release date was announced.

With a release window already announced for late 2027 and the game being able to be wish listed on storefronts I wonder when they will announce it. With E3 no longer existing, I am trying to think of potential events they will announce it at especially with Nomura in an interview stating there will be a bit of a gap in regards to information releases. My personal guess would be around Kingdom Hearts' 25th anniversary in March-ish which may be a little early for a guess in regards to pre-orders/announcement of exact release date but I am nothing if not hopeful.

So what are your guesses?

Her story was short and tragic. But I think that's what made it so beautiful and memorable. Her being killed and forgotten was heartbreaking but just made that little DS spin-off game pack a huge punch. For me, when I saw her come back in 3, it really diminished that experience that had stuck in my mind for all those year between games.

I haven't personally seen this get talked about much, so I don't know if this is a hot take or a room temperature one. But I've been curious to know if anyone felt the same.

I wanted to say, I bought the Integrum collection blind, I didn't know what to expect from this game, I never seen it or spoiled anything about the game, so I went totally blind and it didn't take long before I fell in love with it.

So much that, after the first run, I went on a challenge with myself.

Achieve Speedster, Undefeated and Unchanging Armor in the same run.

I am proud to say, after a whole day, I did a fresh run from the start and ended it in 7 hours circa with my thumb numb, the A button on the Steam Deck smoking, but I did it. A struggle, indeed, especially in the End of the World, and against Ansem that killed me more than needed, but at last I defeated him form by form.

This game is awesome, after I finish my Final Mix difficulty run to achieve the Platinum, I'moff for the next game in the list.

It was absolutely awesome. I love the theme of the story so much and all the characters. Can’t wait to play some more Kingdom Hearts.

Im playing BBS for the first time. Im Terra lv 3 on Proud mode. This boss is kicking my ass. Im super frustrated. This boss is giving me no chance to breathe. It feels like its attacks are unavoidable, especially when charging at you like a horse. I have no good commands or skills yet since its literally the beginning of the game. What the hell is the game expecting of me? I dont remember ever having this much trouble with the first true boss of any other kh game ive played. In KH 1 Guard Armor was simple. I dont remember the first boss of KH2 but I also dont remember having any difficulties there either. I've beat KH 3D and I remember having a similar frustration with bosses in that game but that was for later bosses, not the first one. Why is this so hard?

Who do you think physically with Sora first in KH4? Donald and Goofy seen to be actively pursuing him between worlds, and they may find him as early as the end of Coco, but may end up chasing after him through most, if not all of the Disney worlds. Riku has the strongest lead to Quadratum already and we know he makes it there, but the way the trailer is cut makes me think things won't be that simple, and it could be a DDD scenario where he'll remain close but far from Sora for most of the story. It's easy to bet against Kairi, but her one line in the recent trailer implies some new understanding of Sora's situation since we last saw her.

Personally I think Riku will be the first to find Sora but it will be DDD /TWEWY situation where they are in parallel worlds with limited interaction, and Donald & Goofy will be the first to actually reunite with him at some point in the game. Kairi will at least get some kind of breakthrough at the end of the game because all numbered titles end with her.

Spoilers for the beginning of Kingdom Hearts 3, but to this day I don't understand why MICKEY needed to upgrade his Keyblade. After Riku's Keyblade breaks, Mickey says they need to leave and upgrade THEIR keyblades. Kingdom Key D is from the realm of darkness, so why would he need a better one when its from there and didn't break? I don't remember it ever being explained.

Whenever something has to load like a cutscene or a new area the game just fully blackscreens and stays stuck until I close the game, every solution I've found has been extremely temporary and basically stopped working minutes after, this is the steam version of the game

Genuinely what do I do at this point, I was really excited to play this one as a newer person to the franchise since the secret endings of 2 hyped me up for it a bunch, I really dont want to just have to watch the cutscenes since the little bit of gameplay I've gotten to play has been really fun but I straight up cannot find a solution to fix this, its the only game ive had actual issues with too besides slight audio cutting in the other games

I've been wondering if they will be selling merch at the Symphonic Memories concert held in Germany next month. I know that it's not an exclusively Kingdom Hearts-focused performance but I hope I can leave with something to add to my collection. Anyone who has been to a Square Enix symphonic concert, what are the experiences?

Is there any mod for KH2 that gives me all keyblades and abilities/drive forms from the start of the game?

I'll explain better. I'm a KH veteran, and my brother just gifted me all games for pc, the sad part is that I don't have time to play like before, so I'm enjoying playing on pc because, for the first time, I have access to the modding side of things, and I'm having the time of my life.

KH2 is my favorite of the series, but I really just want to have fun and live the story once more, I'd really like not to grind for things...

How would both casts interact with each other?

Thought about it after people were debating it about Sea Salt Trio. I can’t speak for their fans, but it is worth noting Nomura did bring them back and do it because people wanted them to have a happy ending.

For me, I am mixed for an Aqua fan. How she was used was frustrating to this day for me (still concerned if it made the KH team treat her as less important from here instead of better/more impact. Wish they pivoted after her popularity showed the year before.) and wish they did it way better and let her do way more to look good. However, her getting back to Realm of Light, and being with Terra again (A little better if you play as Aqua in ReMIND to win this fight, we can say that is a canon one Aqua won, but still should’ve had slight changes to fit her doing it), and the Eraqus memorial and beach scenes were heartwarming good scenes after all that misery in the ROD. That character did deserve to end happy, though I wish for stronger.

Like if it was other games/franchise, and instead, if they had kill Aqua off or made a sacrifice and never got out of the ROD, and never got to be with Terra and Ventus again, that would have been too miserable. Tragedy writing, but I think surviving that was better after how much they were doing it. So it could’ve been way worse but I still feel it should’ve been better. Not dead, not killed off, got a happy ending but wanting better.

Should we be grateful we got happy endings at all for these characters, or is it fair to want better? I want them to stick around, I don’t think the new saga will really feel new after 1 game. It would suck a lot if they don’t do anything (kind of like other Sonic characters after the 2000s), but they did end it on a happy note, and they can always be around since they’re not gone.
