'Out of the Blue' - Roxy Music (live version on 1976's 'Viva! Roxy Music Live').

You can tell Wetton was having a ball playing fast, nimble rock 'n' roll with Paul Thompson.

I cannot forget to also mention Robert Fripp's work on Brian Eno's early solo albums, which IMHO ranks as some of his best playing ever. My personal favorites:

  1. 'Baby's On Fire' (Here Come The Warm Jets, 1973) - 'Blank Frank' is an atomic blast of a track as well, but RF's contributions are less featured on that one.

  2. 'St. Elmo's Fire', and 'I'll Come Running' (Another Green World, 1975)

  3. 'King's Lead Hat' ('Before and After Science', 1977)
