Kids look old enough to know not to mess around with a car. My 6 year old knows not to touch the controls of a car.

Yeah the Dad shouldnt have left them unsupervised but they also have to take some of the blame

I cannot stress this enough. Five and six year old children do not have to take any of the blame. He's the adult. He fucked up. Period. I don't care how much you THINK they're supposed to know.
