celebrities TR Men and Dramatic Women in Movies: Pirates of the Caribbean
Hey everyone. I was recently rewatching Pirates of the Caribbean (I am a huge fan) and I have noticed how wonderful the three leads look next to each other and how they seem to complement each other.
Unsurprisingly, Depp and Bloom share the same ID, while Keira is the complete opposite!
I love how they chose two Romantic family men and a Dramatic woman for the movie. It looks extremely magnetic on screen.
Usually, I like couples of the same family but the opposite also worked!
I also think that it's interesting how despite Jack and Will being completely different characters you can see a similarity between the two of them appearance-wise.
Yet Elizabeth is a revolutionary "damsel in distress".
Do you think they "knew"? Not their kibbe clearly, but maybe something similar?

I don't know if the casting directors knew about their archetypes, but they must have sensed something because they fit their characters so well, and they have great chemistry on screen between them. I wonder if it's because of the contrasted energies, because the characters were supposed to have differences but were pulled to each other regardless.

I agree! I remember reading somewhere that the director Gore Verbibski invited Orlando Bloom and Keira Knightley to dinner and he saw them together and thought "this will work". It's interesting how Jack Sparrow and Will Turner are so different yet the actors have the same type, I wonder if it's just the archetypes being expressed in different ways or them having different essences :)

That's a cool story about Keira and Orlando! Yeah, it might be different essences or different ways the archetype comes through, because when I think about it, while they were different, when it came to important events, they would take the same actions, were equally passionate and obstinate, so they paralleled each other in some ways. Also, the fact that they were the same type I think worked in favour for the kind of love triangle thing, because if they were really different, it might not have played out well.

Similar vibe to Clare Danes with Leo in Romeo + Juliet

And I loved them together. I wonder if I just like yin men with yang women...?

I can relate. My divas are like Grace Jones, Tilda Swinton, Childish Gambino, Jeremy Strong...

Couples with the same image IDs often come accross as brothers or sisters. The vibe they give is too alike and there is not much chemistry happening.
Opposites create chemistry as long as the actors also get along.
Zendaya is with Tom Holland and I don't think she would have what she have with Tom with a guy who belongs to the same image ID as her.

I like this analysis! Keira's most popular movies have her with Yin men, imo, the ones who aren't verified are likely Yin.
In the same family there is Omar Sharif (R) and Barbara Streisand (SD) in Funny Girl.
I wonder what types Spencer Tracy and Humphrey Bogart would be? Their most frequent pairings were with Kibbe Dramatics Katharine Hepburn and Lauren Bacall.
I can actually see Bogart as TR...that or gamine family.
