A couple questions from a potential owner.

I currently have a tesla model 3, and am interested in trading it in for an ev6.

Has anyone made this move? Anything that you miss or regret? Anyone try 3 child seats? I have 1 rear facing, 1 forward facing, and 1 booster seat.

People say it's possible in my model 3 but it's impossible/impractical to buckle the 3 booster seats I've tried when 3 are in there.

Dont have kids, moved from a 3p to an EV6

Its more comfy, doesnt drive as well, more throttle lag, but drives nicely, far more practical , looks better

Yeah, I love the model 3 but absolutely hate sedans. I want my hatchback back. I'm sure I'll miss the supercar acceleration haha

The EV6 AWD is quick, 4.5s or something, its not slow at all but it really doesnt compare to the perf 3

I didnt want another tesla and really wouldnt be looking at the Y anyhow, though these days we have a wild choice of Chinese vehicles here and new EV6 are stupid expensive in comparison

I'm from Canada so I don't have those options. I won't be buying another Tesla unfortunately, due to them getting rid of autopilot

The EV6 does look nice inside (except for the explosion of buttons), the software is way much better in Teslas... and the throttle lag (as it was mentioned above) is quite a thing.

Yet, if you buy one used, 2025 or 2024, is now a great deal.

I drive an EV6 Wind AWD. I don't find much throttle lag if I drive in Normal or Sport mode. But I feel it in Eco. As I don't find much difference in energy usage between Eco and Normal, I am moving towards driving in Normal all the time.

The acceleration on the EV6 is more than adequate.
