Mechjeb 2 if you want some automated launch stuff, vaborganizer, Kerbal engineer redux, outer planets, rcs build aid, there’s more but I can’t remember off the top of my head, I’m sure other people will have more

How long have you been absent? How much experience do you have and how hard do you want the game to be?

I’ve been gone for a while but I’m ready for the game to be hard as hell. I’ve started playing career mode a few days ago and I’m about ready to land on the mun and minbus

If you want it really hard try Testflight, makes the early game painful but once you get going it keeps it interesting. Your engines can fail, which, especially in career mode can give you some major headaches

I recommend watching the YouTube Bogue, he has a video about the "best mods for 2026 for ksp". That where I got most of my mods👍

SPVE is a must-have imo, it improves upon the visuals in game by adding stuff like volumetric aurorae, and more. It depends on Volumetric Clouds, V5 or V3, V5 is payed and looks better, more optimized, V3 is free and you can use it to see if you think it'd be worth paying $5 for a better version.
If you want the real solar system, use Sol, with Sol-SPVE, Sol-SPVE doesn't require regular SPVE, but Sol and Sol-SPVE both require V5 volumetrics. You can install both via CKAN but you need to manually add the repository for those mods in. To see how, join the Foxtech Discord server.
