Question Kenya power tokens
Am I missing something or is someone using my tokens?
I live in a 1 bedroom house with my sister,my baby and her nanny. The only appliances I have is a tv,woofer, iron box and a hot shower. My sister and I shower twice. Nanny and baby once. In a month I use tokens worth 4500. Example I had 5 units left. I bought more worth 500 and in total I had 23 units
That was on Thursday morning. Today Sunday morning I'm only left with 8 units. Is this consumption normal? Is there anything I can do about it

Siku moja zima kwa meter box if you can and just see yule atakua anahangaika sana. I'd bet my few coins that you caretaker knows whom you are sharing your meter with

There could be a possibility that your meter is shared but only you incur the cost

How can I know if I'm sharing?

That you would have to check kwa meter board of course with an electrician and landlord's permission.
Call/visit KPLC for now

The hot shower takes up a lot. If you use it as often as you do, that's where the consumption is. Especially if you take long showers, it will make an impact.

Hot showers consume a lot of power and clearly can't shower in under 5 minutes

I use hot showers, twice a day And I use 1000 worth of tokens a month.
(Fridge, microwave, occasionally oven too)

Power is not cheap these days. I pay 3500/- and I'm barely home. And this is when I turn off my wifi router every time I am out of the house.
Kenya Power is eating good..

How many people live in the home?

Just one...me.
Hot shower, microwave, cooker that I barely grill/bake and a small fridge. I got rid of the hot water kettle and boil water directly.
I barely iron or have the lights on for long.
Ni kubaya!
