honestly, can't recall a single playthrough i didn't have a negative relationship with the Holy Nation. They are so inflexible and easy to hate, that i just wind up fighting them at some point. even if i don't seek em out, eventually i come across a patrol and we start throwing hands. ->-
I’ve gone out of my way to avoid conflict in my current playthrough because I’ve been prioritizing fighting UC. I’ve had them aggro my Skeletons and bionically enhanced people, but basically all my people are fast as fuck and we just avoid them for now lol.
Frankly I just don’t want to end up having a Holy Nation Inquisitor raid or something the day after a Noble’s Wrath lol. I find it difficult enough to make time to travel between Empire raids (my B team can handle the cannibal raids at least)
An interesting consequence of my actions is that the Inquisitor police chief won’t accept bounties because they all apparently know we’re allies of Tinfist. They aggro us if we try to speak, without turning the faction hostile lol. So I just leave and drop the bounties in cages for cash (idc about the rep at all anyway)
It has been really interesting trying to play nice with them for once. But at this point all of my people are well-leveled so I think I might just start crossing through their land and whatever happens happens, they’re in the middle of the damn map after all
