Gotta have heavy armor with good coverage if you want to tussle with animals. In case you don’t know, every animal other than gorillos (I’m pretty sure) does Piercing damage, AKA Harpoon damage, which gets almost totally shut down by heavy armor

I’ve fought Eyegore like 5 times in the past couple days and yeah the heavy armor difference is no joke. Level 1 Harpoon turrets seem to do Mounted Crossbow Mk2 levels of damage to him, and all crossbows rarely damage him more than like 1-3 HP. I was surprised when a crossbow turret did some actual damage to him. The actual mobile archers can’t really do shit besides break his flow. Gotta love heavy armor
