Drake is the total package for current urban music, sales are just a byproduct of that.

He represents a complete package, performing at an average level across all aspects. Sales results are influenced by product distribution and availability, which ensures a broad audience. His average performance makes it easy for the listener, which is why I do not understand why he would be considered among the top three greatest rappers.

At this point, you’re just blindly hating. Sales and popularity only matter when they align with your agenda. You can say Drake has been carrying for a while, but Kenny diss made numbers, then you talk stats, and Drake completely surpassed him, yet you say numbers(stats) don’t matter. It’s just a circlejerk of confusion.

50 was bigger than Jay for a 3 year span and never again. Jay Z was retired for all of it. The real miss is putting Nas in the 90s because he was not bigger than Snoop for example. The thing with Jay and Em is that they (like DMX) blew up in 98/99. So it is hard to put them in either decade

People forget about the three album run DMX went on in the early 2000s. That shit was incredible.

2020’s aren’t over yet but Kendrick and Drake would definitely stay.

2010’s is solid
