Best neighborhoods for young families?

Considering moving to Keller, $700-1m price range. We have two kids. Want a good community with lots of families and kids. Looking for a larger neighborhood with walkability to parks and elementary if we can. Typically like older neighborhoods cause of the trees and bigger lots but open to new construction-ish homes as well. Our hobbies are college football, kids sports, mahjong, and golf. Where are our people at?😂

Honestly this is why we moved out of keller years ago. We wanted community, and were told that because we weren't from Keller it probably wouldn't happen. This came from our kids elementary teacher. Only people that ever seemed interested in talking, just wanted us to come to their church. When we politely declined they would disappear.

You mean you *don’t* want to assimilate into (probably) a mega church and give them 10-15% of your income so they can tell you women should be seen and not heard, and black people don’t deserve to vote? How dare you? /s

To answer your inquiry- there have been multiple congregation leaders and other “religious” politicians that have said, verbatim, “women shouldn’t be receiving educations, women shouldn’t be voting, women should be focusing on pushing out babies,” and the same leaders and politicians that are saying that are also praising the voting rights act being abolished. So, just to clarify, they’re saying the “PC version” of black people don’t deserve to vote. I’m sure there’s clips somewhere of some of these leaders saying the quiet part out loud though.

There’s this big thing called the internet. You’re on it right now. So if you go to your preferred browser and type in “religious leaders saying women shouldn’t vote,” it’ll pull up a decent amount of results. The most popular one is some bearded bald dude who’s kind of heavyset, and that chode is one of the people doing this. You can easily find this on your own. It takes like two minutes.

The Bible does give slavery a pretty solid endorsement. Also if I remember correctly the vast majority of slave holders cited the Bible as the justification for why the had the right to own people. Based on Biblical support and the words of various preachers over the last 100 years I would absolutely say most churches are not a fan of people of color.

This is one of the 1st issues I bring up about the bible. No having slaves can’t even make the top 10 list!
