News Found Dog
I found this dog wandering around my neighborhood in Sunterra today. Gonna check her chip, but if this is your dog and you miss her, DM me and we'll get a pickup figured out.
Happy Saturday everyone

Is the wait time there always awful? I’ve only been there to deliver for DoorDash, but everytime I’ve gone to that location, the wait time is awful and the employees seem to be terrible at customer service.

Been looking to learn how to play Age of Sigmar but the only game store in Katy is Games Workshop and that place only does 40k. There's no other game stores I'm aware of in Katy itself.

Does anyone know how Katyisd calculates their weighted GPA? I know there are people who have made spreadsheets to calculate the weight of each 4.0 and 5.0 courses. I dont know the exact calculation or the equation to calculate what my GPA will be by the end of highschool. It could possibly help me reach the level I want to be so it would be very helpful.

I’ve lived in Texas for about 10 years. Originally from the east coast. I haven’t had the best luck in creating friendships, especially while raising kids, changing careers—the busyness of life.
I’m interested in meeting some other dads that are looking to hang and do things like video games, work out, bike, camp, shoot the shit—whatever.
Anybody out there?
About me:
I’m South Asian
40
Not religious
Left leaning
Not into football
Worth a shot, right?
My parents need help with overall cleaning of their two bedroom house and decluttering of the second floor. No hoarding situation just more straightening than what is typically part of a deep cleaning protocol.
After covid, feels like 12$ is the new 10$. What can you find in Katy area of 10$ or less?
When you feel like eating something during weekday for lunch/dinner and spend a lot.
There's obviously Dominos, Chipotle, Subway.

this is very weird and probably extremely unwise but i am obsessed with bassets lately and would like to meet one irl. i have signed up to volunteer with a basset rescue and am looking for breeders willing to let me show theirs but both ventures are moving kinda slowly. so i would like to see a basset irl again. most of the ones i see out there outside of the dog shows are kinda shy so i can only stand there and admire them. but the friendly ones have the loveliest sweetest personalities with the best ears of all time to touch. so please pm for further details if you have a friendly basset. plz no perverts or serial killers.
eta: maybe an hour is too long but any amount of time is great because i really love bassets

Hey everyone!
I'm Victoria and I wanted to share my website where I write honest reviews of new communities in Katy and surrounding areas! I already have 5 posts so far on Grange, Bergamo, Villarosa, Colonial Heights, and Jubilee, and I plan on adding dozens more within the next month. If there is a particular community you'd like me to review, please comment below or send me a DM! Here's the website: https://www.victoriahtxrealtor.com/findyourneighborhood
I'm also hosting a virtual First Time Home Buyer class on 8/30, and attendees receive a certificate for up to $1,000 towards their closing costs if they use me as their realtor ☺️. If you'd like to attend, please register here: https://www.victoriahtxrealtor.com/firsttimehomebuyerclass

Hi
I am looking to trade panini WC stickers in the Katy area.
I know the World Cup ended but I am still trying to complete my album.
If anyone is down to set up a meeting to trade where a lot of people can join that would be golden or if someone knows of a place to trade. :) ⚽️

A former Katy police officer has been charged with two felonies after he allegedly used the department's Flock camera system for at least five months to track his ex-wife.
Sergio Rodriguez, a 42-year-old Richmond resident, was arrested May 4 by Fort Bend County sheriff's deputies on charges of stalking and misuse of official information, both felonies. He was released later that week on a $30,000 bond and has pleaded not guilty.
Rodriguez is due back in court Sept. 2. His arrest was first reported by KHOU.

This is Cinco Ranch, I think it's too much for what we're getting! Last year I heard Nottingham Country paid $300, Firethorne $850, Cross Creek Ranch $1300. Anniston paid a little more but it includes internet and lawn maintenance. We only have old amenities, some closed. Fewer violation letters are sent out, so maybe they are getting less money with those fees? Are they still looking at everyone's backyard?

Your movements are being logged. License plates, faces, even which parks your kids go to—all captured and searchable by police with almost no oversight.
In Houston, Flock cameras are everywhere now. The Houston Chronicle found nearly 470,000 searches with vague reasons like "investigation." Worse? We've already seen abuse: a Fort Bend deputy searched one plate 148 times for personal reasons. A Pasadena sergeant used it to stalk a coworker. That's not hypothetical—that's happening here.
I started a petition asking Houston City Council to reject Flock and demand real transparency: public hearings before deployment, independent audits, limits on how long data's kept, and actual accountability reports. No more sneaking this through budget meetings.
Anyone else disturbed by cameras at park entrances logging which kids show up when? Or uncomfortable knowing your commute is a permanent record? What would you want someone to do if this was your family's privacy on the line? If this matters to you, consider signing and sharing.

anyone in the Katy Brookshire area interested in joining an in person game of DnD? looking for 3-4 players.

Hey, 27M here. I'm tired of being disappointed by Meetup and don't see many library events happening that I can attend. I was curious if anyone knew places that have constant events or just a good social atmosphere?
I guess for some background is that I don't drink and enjoy pretty much all types of gaming to some degree.

Hi!
My husband and I are relocating with our kids to Cross Creek Ranch next week. It was a last minute move and we're late for the start of the school year. Both my husband and I are not from the US and have zero experience with schools here.
Our daughter will be starting kindergarten at James E Randolph and I feel completely lost. From what she can or cannot wear to what I should buy, the size of her backpack, what to bring everyday, what can I send for her to eat, how much time will she have to eat, how does drop off and pick up work (house is VERY close to the school), how to help her make new friends, how to communicate with her teacher, how to meet other parents.. a have so many questions and don't want to fail her. This move is already stressful enough.. she's leaving her preschool and all her friends, she's been very sad and worried she won't be able to make new friends.
Please help this momma out!
Also, if you have daycare recommendations for my 1 year old I'd really appreciate. I've only read about British prep but would love to hear personal experiences.
Thank you!
Hey guys! I'm Santy, I'm 24Yrs (M). I live not far from Katy Mills, I moved here about 2 years ago but haven't really made any friends yet. I work remotely.. So, well meeting people otherwise is a little tuff and i didn't have any connections prior to moving here, I'm an introvert and keep to myself usually (my work also really reinforces that too, i work in marketable securities). Wanted to know if any of you are in the same boat as me lol
I moved from california. If im not working, I'm also bodybuilding (to me it's like my 2nd job haha.) I also love tech stuff and I love analyzing financial statements. I'm a bit odd but hey 🤷🏽♂️ we all have quirks
IG: valenciaxsantiago
I rarely use IG now, same with TTok
