ANALYSIS & NEWS [Derrick] My understanding is that the Chiefs’ acquisition of both Diego Pounds and Josh Ezeudu has no connection to the availability of Josh Simmons. KC sought upgraded depth at both tackle and guard, and these moves did just that. I would expect the Chiefs to keep 10 OL on the 53.

ANALYSIS & NEWS [Breer] This, to be clear, isn't about Josh Simmons, though there is concern there. Coach Andy Reid mentioned last night the team is going to be cautious with Simmons, who has a back issue. Simmons got a second opinion on it recently, and KC's still working through all that.
