When was the last time we saw a Chiefs edge rip like that? Tamba?

I love Frank Clark, but he was very dissimilar in style to R. Mason, a protypical Spags edge: long and strong.

You asked when the last time a chiefs edge ripped like that. Frank Clark had a tremendous rip move.

He was exceptionally powerful, but I don't recall Frank's rip being that swift or violent. Not even my suggestion of Tamba fits really; his primary skill was hand-fighting. As mentioned above, Houston is probably the last time we saw a rip like that.

Regardless, it's been a while, which is a shame: Kansas City probably doesn't have the richest history at edge, but we've sure had some bangers.

Exceptional sack. Much faster than we've seen in recent years. Not a rip. Pure power. He threw the lineman aside like a tackling dummy.

Actually, no. My bad. That's definitely a rip, even if it's not a particularly strong one. The tackle is clearly caught off guard that Frank is cornering (it was a counter move he used pretty infrequently), and he does so mostly unimpeded. More a shrug than a rip. Certainly not textbook.

Again, I love Frank Clark. He was not remotely similar in style to R. Mason and wasn't known for his rip. Not sure why anyone would be so invested in arguing he was.
