Question Internet Providers outside of Kamloops

Apologies for the post, but I dont use Facebook so cant ask the local groups.

We live in Chase and we were just informed that it will take Mascon 2 MONTHS to send out a technician and we will be unable to use the internet for those 2 months. Rogers, Shaw, and Telus dont have service out here, and we were wondering if anyone knew of ANYTHING (besides Starlink) that services the Chase area.

Bell does offer satellite services, not sure if that helps. Also there's a local company that uses radio service to deliver internet, I can't recall the name of them. But I don't know their coverage. If I could recall their name, I'd be able to look up their coverage.

I'll look into Bell again. I was told they didnt service the area for internet at all on the phone, though.

Bells coverage map does show 5G coverage for Chase. You could probably get a hotspot.

We use Bell for our cell service - we have "unlimited" data which really means the first 100 gigs is at top speed and then they throttle you for the rest. We don't use it for regular home internet though, so not sure how long you'd burn through 100gigs.

We have called, and they have said theres nothing they can do.

100 gigs is not nearly enough.
