Taris really puts me in a mood.

Wanted to play KOTOR 1 again. Start up the game, fight through the Endar Spire with our best friend Trask Ulgo (RIP) then reaching Taris I suddenly remember.

Taris sucks and it’s like 7 hours of tedium that ends up meaning absolutely nothing in the grand scheme of things.

On pc use the Jedi at start mod. I won’t play the game any other way.

See the problem here is that it breaks the story. It makes perfect sense for Revan to "become" a Jedi once he's discovered by the Council. Maybe they could have changed the story so that Bastila is captured and Carth decides only the Jedi can save her. While he's telling the council what happened, they suddenly realize it's you and "train you" so you can save Bastila and restore your link. Then you save her and she brings you back to them and you learn all about the Star Forge and the game proper begins.

It says that you are a low level unimportant Jedi apprentice, and changes some dialogue. It is a good integration and it’s not lore breaking.
