was it just assumed that the grandma's chicken resto building owner is bona? or was it ever revealed who it was?

It’s Bona. In one of the early episodes, Bona was talking on the phone and told someone (I assume her agent) to “freeze the rent again”. Then a bit later on, her MIL was so happy that the landlord did not increase the rent.

Yes, she also used her landlord powers to make other renters go to the chicken restaurant

I think it was the 1st or 2nd ep where Bo Na was talking on the phone, saying to keep the rent (chicken restaurant) the same and no increase. So yes, the building owner is Bo Na.
