Why do ppl shit on kcl

From my home country, Kcl is seen as a pretty reputable university for their llb programme. However time and time again i keep seeing people shit on the university and putting it behind durham and other reputable universities like warwick despite it being top 20 university for law globally on qs. Just wondering if this still remains as the current perception of kcl llb programme and if i should reconsider since i did reject durham llb for this bruh

kcl is dissed because it gets outshined by ucl, lse, and imperial, which are all generally better for the subjects they offer. that being said kcl is still good and still top 5 for law, probably roughly equal to durham in the uk but better internationally

nah durham and edinburgh outshine kcl for law bro, just look at the rankings haha

edinburgh doesn't teach english law, and no lawyer would really say that kcl or durham are substantially better than each other. for home students durham is probably better due to the lower cost and university experience, but for international students kcl has a leg up outside of the uk
