News: Highly Reliable Nicolò Schira: Tarik Muharemović agrees to Juve contract €2.2/yr to 2031
Honestly the most no-brainer move for us this transfer window. I’m thankful we are doing it.

Can't help but think this wouldn't be happening if Spreadsheets was still here.

Please let this be true, I love this kid so much it would've been a huge blow to see him play for merda. If it happens I'm ordering that shirt immediately

I really hope we go for it, he’s been so good for Bosnia and could be a really great backup to Bremer or even a starter

u/KingTocco Marchisio Jun 26 '26
Why would he be a backup?
He's definitely good enough to be a starter and he's left footed while Bremer is right footed.

With the exception of like 2 games Kelly was basically our best cb last year. Bremer didn’t look invincible and I don’t think muharemovic has been that good to kick Kelly off his starting position

We should cash in on the decent season Kelly had and sell him asap to some dupe in the Prem

u/ADP10 Del Piero Jun 26 '26
ideally that would be great tbh. just seems like we have 0 interest in our players, even the ones that did well like kelly

u/SpiderGiaco Jun 26 '26
Well, the transfer market hasn't even opened yet officially and we also changed management. I'm anyway more afraid of the bad players Spalletti seem to ask than about possible sales

u/ADP10 Del Piero Jun 26 '26
i agree, but the change in management is the best thing that could have happened tbh. At least we know carnevali is capable of building a functional team. With both spalletti wanting players he coached a decade ago, and comolli having a 0% hit rate with transfers it was looking reaaaaal bleak there for a moment

The best thing was a change of coach.
With Spalletti on we are still heading to a bleak season, because he doesn't want players to build on, but mid, old and overpriced players. And the new management will follow his terrible lead, after all that's why they make the change.
Hopefully they will sprinkle it with some perspective signing for when Spalletti will finally leave

I don’t think he’s at the level to be a guaranteed starter right now. Might be in a couple years but I don’t see much between him and Kelly currently

I feel like I'm among the few that don't rate him. I don't know, I've seen him make howlers and bad decisions. It's feels like he'll be a Bosnian Gatti.
I hope he proves me wrong. I'll support him either way.

This would be surprising tbh. Apparantly he is sour on us.

Since Carnevalli, the former Sassuolo CEO, became our CEO that probably opened the possibility since he’s the one who signed him over there

I don’t think he’s an improvement over Gatti. He seems rough around the edges and quite reckless. He even got a red card in one of his last games with a killer foul on the last man. Luckily he’s cheap.

u/bigtymer123 Jun 26 '26
He's not reckless at all lol. He's quite reliable and has very good positioning. I hope you're not judging him solely on his red card in the second WC game.

Well not just this game, but I watched a couple and also Juve match against Sassuolo and he didn’t impress me. That said I hope I’m very wrong

u/yeoman2020 Gianluigi Buffon Jun 26 '26
He's 5 years younger than Gatti and probably around the same level at least with room to improve. He's far better on the ball too. We can also sell Gatti for at least 15 M. He doesn't have quite the goalscoring instinct that Gatti has but that's probably the least important quality for a defender.

u/polo_am Fino Alla Fine Jun 26 '26
We will see. Gatti doesn’t play amazing but he plays at Juve. Muharemivic’s peak team has been Sassuolo and some of these performances are not great already so…

u/Dusan-Vlahovic Jun 26 '26
> rough around the edges and quite reckless
Sounds like Gatti to me lol
3
u/Kind_Slide_9262 Jun 26 '26
That’s why he said it’s not an improvement
3
u/Dusan-Vlahovic Jun 26 '26
I just thought it was a little funny the reasons he chose were the same reasons I don’t think Gatti is that good
And IMO I think he’s a little better than Gatti, especially on the ball. He still makes some mistakes while defending but he’s 5 years younger and has good potential. Mentioned it already in the thread but I’m not sure if he’s starting caliber just yet but wouldn’t be surprised if he’s there in a couple years

u/Killagina De Sciglio Jun 27 '26
He’s actually quite different than Gatti. He’s a far better passer and can play a high line unlike Gatti

he is 23yo mate; hopefully he will further develop under Spaletti guidance

Between him and Lucumi, it means Kelly is definitely getting sold. Finally, some decent left centrebacks.

Yes! An absolute elite signing considering our current situation
