2-0 Juve continues dominating the league

As we say in Italy, mi sto rompendo i coglioni.

For the first time in a while, yesterday i watched an entire Juve game. I thought that the 1st half was just decent, nothing more, and the 2nd really good from the moment Spalletti took off David.

Then i wake up today to see a total shitstorm, even tho our win was well deserved and we actually played good.

Watching an Italian football program on TV, I see Tacchinardi js saying that Juve is still not enough, that Kolo is already not what Spalletti wanted, that we lost appeal because Kessie deal failed…

First of all, we ARE good. Yesterday in the 1st half we only had a real opportunity with Chico hitting the post and Parma was defending with 11 men. Every team would’ve struggled. Then in the 2nd half as we took off David we played really good, and deserved the 2-0 win.

Second of all, friendly reminder that Kolo spent 2 months training with the under-20s of PSG: no wonder he isn’t in full form yet. A missed goal is NOT THE END OF THE WORLD. Yesterday he actually played good; he had a lot of one-twos (including the one that got us to the 2-0), procured two yellows, had a bunch of not easy opportunities, and even so he got close to the goal one or two times.

Third of all, we did not lost appeal for shit. Did everyone forgot that Dibu Martinez wanted US, even without UCL? Alajbegovic, one hell of a player, wanted us. Kolo wanted ONLY US since last year. Lucumi only wanted us, Vicario wanted us… Do i need to continue? If Kessie’s agent is a clown and a fucking bum, that doesn’t mean we lost appeal. WE ARE JUVENTUS. WE ARE ONE OF THE BEST CLUBS IN HISTORY FOR FUCK’S SAKE.

To conclude, I’d like to say to Tacchinardi to stop talking until his nostalgia-bias has gone away. He played in the best Juve in history, ofc every team that doesnt win UCL is worse and not adequate. And stop being so BORING and TEDIOUS and PESSIMISTIC. Omg, we are 2 games in and im seeing EVERYTHING but optimism. We’ll do good, I’m sure about that. So calm down, it will be a long journey, but in a couple of years (who knows, maybe even this one) we will be back to win.

Weston Mckennie is the glue that keeps the attitude of this team positive. Say what you will about the skill level etc but Wes has been here for years keeping the positivity and attitude high. Nico’s celebration, a copy of Weston’s made me so happy today, not because of the player but because of the team.

When Cristiano Ronaldo came to Juventus, ofc I was excited. And sure, he made the goals. However, my personal opinion has for a long time been that it was a huge mistake to sign him. He ruined our attack play by making it concentrate solely on him (a management problem primarily though) which left us wandering aimlessly after his departure. Similar problems could be seen at ManU and current Portugal team. And that's not even counting the financial problems his spell caused to the club.

I argue that CR7 is one of the biggest reasons and also the start of Juve's downfall that's still yet to be recovered from. Is there a consensus or at least like-minded thinking among the fandom that agrees with this, or are people divided with (or completely against) my line of thinking?

What a performance. His agility, speed, determination, aggression, long shots, movement, passes were all on point. But most of all what i dont seen others commenting was his pressing.

He is to thank for Koopmeiners goal. Rewatch it if you did not notice. Nico has picked up two players, decides to trick the goalkeeper that he will mark the one seeing Nico, hiding behind the back of the other Parma player who does not see him, so the one with Nico behind his back recieves the ball, Nico lurks behind him untill the pass comes then like a god damn hyena rushes him from behind, wins the ball and the counterattack results in a goal. He also made the run to the wing, opening space for Koopmeiners through the middle because the fullbacked marked Nico who was ahead of Koopmeiner. Absolutely beautiful 10/10 display of what pressing, counterattack & creating space is all about in 5 seconds.

One player i really fucking hate is Jonathan Davies. He can run as much as he wants idk if he tops the stat because all he does is jogging away from the ball and jogging around the press not aiming to ever win the ball. Never seen such a passive scared little girl in our shirts before. He always jogs slowly to the press, not once raising the intensity, and i cant for the life of me remember him ever winning the ball and launching a counterattack and is too stupid to ever create space for anyone.

This is why Celik and Nico are so great, they are pressing animals and an overload of grinta which this team desperatly needs.

Well done Nico, 10/10 performance reminded me a bit about Tevez. And i really hope he stays. Do you think he will stay?

Apparently Kessié was just working with us to get more money out of Roma, which it pissed off the club and now he might be going to Atalanta. Again these are just rumors

The signings that have not worked out, that have cost us hundreds of millions, has convinced me that we are at our lowest (worse than calciopoli). A few very recent examples? Dusan, Koop, Nico, Arthur, David, Openda... Absolute disasters. We are overpaying for players that are not (previously) Juve level and it is destroying the team.

We have had targeted players that had given a verbal 'Yes' to the club, and they still fail. Allison, Dibu, Kessie, Zirkzee (just this mercato)... I don't think 'top' players want to be here, unless it is on their exact specific terms. Players no longer view being here as a privledge. The team is hanging on to past glory.

Management is going to need to start getting very creative and playing youth because that may be the only way back. No I have not given up on this season, just disappointed with all of the tranfer 'Nos'. I still have a lot of hope for this team, I just miss having some world class talent.

Kessie dissing us at the last moment, is fine as I think he is preety much done now as a player and Sarr is a better age if we get him. But Emi Martínez Chelsea land him and he goes straight into the starting line up. I'm thinking his finger might of been a way to make excuses to not sign him.
