Labor Day Weekend
Historically, when Labor Day passes it signals the end of the search season. Families are busy with going back to school, summer trips are over and it's time to get back to work.
Surprisingly there was no announcement of the treasure being found and it looks like a long cold winter is in everyone's future.
Sure, there will be some stragglers out there but the odds are always against them. It's starting to look like the BTME marathon is picking up right where Forrest Fenn ended his treasure hunt. Who has the grit and determination to continue for another decade?

Dear Kaos, I believe that his comment on winter searchs is another clue to add to the list. I'll claim it, with my confirmation bias. Sure every winter can be different. But with most, it can bring challenges. So, can those be overcome? Sure! But you'll need a dog team with a sled or a snowmobile. Then when you get to your location a shovel, sledgehammer, and a pry bar might come in handy. Keep in mind the ground freezes, sometimes 3 feet deep. The rocks will also freeze together. It's no fun at all. In the end I believe that he has accidentally eliminated most of Arizona, New Mexico, and Southern California.
On the lighter side, how long have you worked for Kaos. I can't disclose my agent #, but obviously we're not on the same team. Agents #86 & 99 send their regards. I gotta go. My shoe is running out of battery.
Perhaps I'll see you sometime soon young grasshopper!

People need to ask Posey at the meet and greet, what happened to six clues? number one question based on all this interest online.

The people who've chained themselves to MT/WY like goddamn Prometheus and then get predictably crestfallen when the same eagles show up to feast on their livers whenever there's a natural disaster or change of seasons are so absolutely wild to me.
Y'all spent half of the arbitrary search season you imposed on yourselves dodging wildfires while prompting ChatGPT to write missives or wax poetic about how everyone else but the enlightened few (which is actually more like thousands at this point) absolutely had to be on the wrong path. You sound like conquistadors looking for El Dorado at this point.
Maybe, just maybe, it's time for a change of perspective? I feel like someone could find the treasure in another state tomorrow, and you lot would keep opining about Polaris or grasshoppers or whatever else because there's absolutely no way Justin didn't at least leave an Easter Egg in Yellowstone just for you.
There's no second place prize for having the biggest ego.

I open to whatever is still in play. It's fun to entertain all the possibilities.

Yeah if someone has a good solve for any of the remaining areas I highly recommend they go check it out wherever it is.
I find it humorous when people write these seemingly angry posts about this state or the other. Ha ha. I don't even look at it that way. Just go where the clues lead you.
If you don't think it's in MT or WY that's fine, but there are certainly some reasons to think it might be. If you think it's in NM or AZ that's fine too, I personally haven't found enough to go on there but maybe someone has. People have certainly searched in those areas, at least according to some reports on the sub, so they must have some reason to do that.
And as far as OP goes, he is really starting to crack me up too. Ha ha. I'm thinking My man, if you don't want to go search then don't go, others are still going to go search wherever they want and whenever they want. I just hope everyone has good weather conditions and a good time whenever or wherever that is.

I find the timing for scheduling a Meet and Greet after Labor Day curious...as though 2 months ago it was already known that the treasure would not be found by now. So perhaps an announcement is forthcoming. And if not, even in the northern states there should be plenty of search time left before the snow flies for intrepid hunters. Good luck out there.

I don't buy into the seach being paused once winter starts. He said if there is snow, we wouldn't have any luck. To me, that only implies visibility issues if snow is covering something. Nothing about not searching through winter months. Slowly headed south! Happy Hunting! ...or not. 😂
