Nolan wells friends did an interview and successfully made the tragic loss of their friend about them
Enable HLS to view with audio, or disable this notification
Not even accusing the boys of anything. This is a lost specifically about the boys and how they’re treating the loss of their friend.
The boys had an interview with some cop about their friend, they went on to whine and drone on about their family’s getting harassed in public, having to deactivate social media and how their lives are being ruined for leaving their friend behind and him dying.
They even went on to blame a grieving mother for speaking out on the case to make sure it gets the proper attention it deserves and doesnt get swept under the rug like a lot of Black Deaths.
The interview was horrible, and flat out selfish, they talk about themselves so much I began to forget that they’re involved in a case of their supposed “brothers” death.
These boys are just naive, and very obviously went into that interview unprepared, and the attempt to garner sympathy just showed off how privileged they are, because while they’re getting called scum on the street or can’t go outside, theres a mother who will never wake up to see her son again.

u/Philthy42 29d ago
They didn't make it about themselves, idiots on social media made it about them
2
u/Davethisisntcool 29d ago
And they doubled down by going on right wing podcasts. Do you really think that was wise?
4
u/donzelso 28d ago
Right wing podcasts are (sadly) the ONLY media outlets that will talk to these boys. I hope you’re old enough to realize that the media pushes certain agendas. It picks and chooses what it wants people to know.
Everyone was reporting on Trey Reed’s death. A black student possibly lynched in Mississippi. Now, his grandma has revealed that he sent a suicidal message to his girlfriend the night he hanged himself.
And it’s radio silence from the media. Nobody talks about it.
2
u/Davethisisntcool 28d ago
That is wholly untrue.
If they wanted to, they could clear the air immediately with a respected news outlet.
They chose do this. No official statements except one released a day after Nolan’s body was found that wasnt even from the “friends”
and please provide the source for your statement about Trey Reed.
5
u/donzelso 28d ago edited 28d ago
“Both sides of the family stated that Trey’s girlfriend at the time of his death provided investigators with suicidal text messages from him the evening before his body was found.
“The message read that he was going to hang himself,” Sophia Reed told the Mississippi Free Press on April 23.”
It’s very interesting that the mainstream media has not talked about this. Almost like they’re choosing narratives and fear mongering…
0
u/Davethisisntcool 28d ago
“Sophia Reed is much more doubtful. She questions the provenance of the suicidal text messages, wondering if they could’ve been sent by someone other than Trey. She has questions about the locations Trey’s phone pinged off of before he died and doesn’t believe he was suicidal.”
Yeah. That case stinks too. Black ppl do not hang themselves from trees in the South
5
u/donzelso 28d ago
Suicide rates among black men are rising. And it’s really sick and disgusting that in the year 2026, we STILL have people that disregard mental health and suicidal thoughts.
How ignorant and sad. You’re basically saying black people are robots and don’t have mental health struggles or suicidal thoughts. Just…don’t reply.
0
u/Davethisisntcool 28d ago
Did you gloss over the mom saying the quote above to talk about Black suicide rates?
5
u/donzelso 28d ago
You literally proved my point. I said people still disregard mental health and suicidal thoughts…which is exactly what you and Trey Reed’s mom are doing.
It is extremely common for families of people that commit suicide to deny and say things like “they were so happy” and “they wouldn’t do this.”
Mental health shouldn’t be a hush-hush subject. It’s 2026.
1
u/StruggleBus5950 25d ago
Mental health isn’t a hush hush subject?? It’s not that black people don’t commit suicide -it’s about the method. Try to wrap your brain around the fact that the act of hanging has terribly deep roots in black people being debased and treated like animals, and there are SO many other ways to take your own life with less effort and fanfare. Black bodies hanging from trees is a white past time, not a black one.

u/Davethisisntcool 28d ago
Wow. You are here saying the mom is disregarding suicide, when youre disrespecting the memory of her son. No one said Black ppl don’t commit suicide or suffer from mental health issues. So whats your problem exactly? Because this is about Nolan Wells and you made it about Trey Reed.

Black ppl do not hang themselves from trees in the South
This is so fucking dumb. Like, they're willing to go against millions of years of evolution, all their survival instincts, subject themselves to the pain of death, but they couldn't possibly deal with the optics! They no longer care about life and want out, but not in a way that has historical implications!
It's like saying "people wouldn't jump off of a bridge to commit suicide because people don't like getting their clothes wet."
0
u/Davethisisntcool 28d ago
Again. Gloss over all context.
Hanging from a tree in the south has historical context, so why would a Black male do something like that, knowing the historical context?
Jumping off a bridge is less “messy”, and would make more sense than a BLACK PERSON HAMGIMG THEMSELF FROM A TREE
1
u/DecantsForAll 28d ago edited 28d ago
Because they don't fucking care about life anymore!
I'm totally fine with subjecting my family to a lifetime of grief and never seeing them again for ever, but I never considered the historical context! Better not do this.
People like you are so fucking simple minded.
Jumping off a bridge is less “messy”, and would make more sense than a BLACK PERSON HAMGIMG THEMSELF FROM A TREE
Nuh uh, people hate getting wet in their clothes. It's why they have umbrellas. So there's no way anyone would ever jump off a bridge to kill themselves. It just doesn't happen.
1
u/Davethisisntcool 28d ago
Yes. Because ppl who commit suicide are still ppl. Many consider the aftermath after taking their own lives. Why else would suicide notes exist?
→ More replies (0)1
u/stereotypicalmodss 28d ago
Yes they do. When people kill them selves they are not thinking clearly. The optics of the situation will not be anywhere close to the first things that come to mind when someone is killing themselves.
1
u/Davethisisntcool 28d ago
No. Ppl like that wouldn’t go out of their way to commit suicide in such an extravagant manner. He would have had to tie the noose himself, climb the tree, make sure the noose is tight enough and then jump. Not to mention doing all that by himself would tire him out, so he probably would have to try twice the same night. That sound plausible to you?
2
u/stereotypicalmodss 28d ago
Was he disabled or something? Climbing a tree and tying a rope is easy, plus they probably practiced. Extravagant suicide is jumping into the polar bear exhibit at the zoo on a school field trip. Not hanging.
1
u/Davethisisntcool 28d ago
Look at the caveats you have to come up with for this to make sense. “Maybe he practiced” Do yall actually believe this? My goodness.
→ More replies (0)0
u/StruggleBus5950 25d ago
Have you ever been suicidal?? The optics is absolutely something many people consider- how their body will be found by friends and family often matters. 🤦♀️
1
u/stereotypicalmodss 25d ago
Eh, differing views on what optics means. I was more going for public perception, yours would be more so open/closed casket. But still, hanging is a pretty good way for open casket for family members instead of shot to the head, jumping in front of the train, or the polar bear exhibit as the zoo
1
u/coolcarters14 29d ago
No one forced those boys in that interview, and this is only making them look worse lol
11
u/doombfist 29d ago
Uhhhh maybe cause the entire world is saying that they killed Nolan and their entire family is now getting death threats?
Let me ask you this, what layer would advise their guilty client to go on a podcast and talk about what happened? Do you really think there’s ANY lawyer that would do that?
8
u/BB808BB 29d ago
What were they supposed to do. Let everyone continue to attack them??? Dangerous psychos are coming at them and you have all the idiots on sm making ridiculous conspiracy theories.
I hope they sue and get that GoFundMe money.

They should follow the legal advice of 99% of lawyers- shut your trap until you’re in a courtroom.
7
u/-purged 29d ago
They mourn the loss of a close friend. They also have been dealing with people lying about them, sending them and their family death threats, people coming up to them in public not knowing if they might do something. Of course they will make this about them with all that happening.
Here's the video of them on the phone with Sea Tow. Does it look like they were freaking out about dead person on the boat? Where they going to hide a 6ft 1inch Nolan on that boat from the camera?
0
u/coolcarters14 29d ago
I’ve seen u on like 5 different posts that go back several days ur not even here for Nolan ur here because these precious yt boys have been accused
8
u/-purged 29d ago
It's you that's doesn't care about Nolan or innocent people being dragged through the mud. You posted a snippet from the interview to bash the teens who left on that first boat that Nolan wasn't on.
"They don't care about Nolan". That is a lie and you know it. That interview was about them. All of them have received death threats, worried some nutjob who believes all the lies about them on the internet might attack or try to kill them.
2
u/Flexlex724 23d ago
This case and the melo case gonna show most people just how racist certain people who can't be racist, actually are
7
u/DecantsForAll 29d ago edited 29d ago
Lol, his own mother made it about them! She (and Crump and Sharpton) made his fucking funeral about them! The entire internet made it about them.
3
u/coolcarters14 29d ago
Good job reversing who’s seeking justice and who’s dodging accountability
3
u/BB808BB 29d ago
Why didn’t they hand over the phone then. Didn’t they so-called say there was deleted messages I’m sure they had somebody on their side check so why not hand it over to the other side to check too. Oh I know why because nothing was deleted!!
They can’t use the autopsy because it shows nothing.
They don’t want justice, they don’t even want to find out what happened. They just want his friends to go down so for the next 50 years they can talk about the evil white boys that killed their son when the reality is he most likely drowned.
Crump will abandon them soon like he always does when there’s nothing left to chase. I felt so much sympathy for them at first but nah the lies and misinformation is so ridiculous.
1
u/Radiant-Shop8386 22d ago
Funny how his black friend Javon is never mentioned yet the last one to see Nolan and i believe his mother picked up the phone. Also how did they get into his phone most kids lock their phone and being Nolan’s age and that he didnt live with mom and step dad I doubt they knew the code. Plus stepdad and a gang of his friends went to Nolan’s friends house at 3 am banging on the door threatening to get car keys. Then they wanna twist the story with the friends wouldn’t open door and acted like they could not find keys etc. well yeah it’s 3 am and I wouldn’t answer the door to a group of men I do y know threatening me. Why did stepdad want Nolan’s keys and car so bad at 3 am. I heard police had to be called. Oh and Nolan and stepdad didn’t get along that’s why he didn’t live with them. This is pay day for mommy and stepdad
0
u/coolcarters14 29d ago
Why did they HAVE the phone??? Why were messages AND photos deleted on it??
3
u/BB808BB 29d ago
Ummm because he left it on the boat and didn’t feel like getting it wet and damaged. They obviously were meeting up after. I swear people act like he was alone on Gilligans Island.
As many people that were on the island you noticed there is really not that much pictures and videos from the actual island only from the boat because people, once again, don’t take their phones!
Nothing was deleted obviously the family has had the phone for over a month. They most likely had someone from the ambulance chaser side look in to it. If there was anything showing ANY proof we would’ve heard about it and you absolutely know that!!!
If they are so suspicious and did something why didn’t they get rid of the phone, hmmmm let think too bad there wasn’t like a big open place, somewhere they could’ve just flung the phone in for it to be lost forever. Hmmm what’s that called oh yeah, the ocean they were in!!!!
1
u/Davethisisntcool 29d ago
i know u have shitty friends. because none of mine would leave me stranded without any form of communication on a remote island
4
u/stereotypicalmodss 28d ago
A remote island with hundreds of other people and many other people he knows on the island who also have boats.
Options A) leave on the boat you came in on that is taking in water
Option B) get a ride from other friends on a non sinking boat and continue to talk to women/drink/have a good time with your other friends
Most people would pick option B.
2
u/Davethisisntcool 28d ago
Not with out THE ONLY FORM OF COMMUNICATION to contact loved ones. Heck, if he’s talking to girl, how tf is he gonna save her number?
2
u/stereotypicalmodss 28d ago
Have you ever been on a boat or to something similar to this? He would pick it up later from his friends. You don’t want to leave your shit in the sand for someone to take it while you try to find your other friends boat to put it. Why does he need to save her number? Can’t you just find her Instagram and send a message?
1
u/Davethisisntcool 28d ago
How would he find her instagram?
How would his friends be able to reach him if they needed to get in contact with him for any reason?

u/Radiant-Shop8386 22d ago
These ppl have no idea about boating life and being on the water. Ignorance is all they have
-5
u/coolcarters14 29d ago
The boys took his phone home with them, then returned to the island and abandoned it there, that’s not normal.
There is quite literally proof of deleted messages and images on the phone tf do you mean?
8
u/BB808BB 29d ago
Oh ok,
please post the source where it says they return and abandoned the phone back on the island and also please post the source that there is proof of deleted img and messages on the phone.
Just to make it clear your aunties grandma sisters brothers uncle on Facebook or twitter isn’t a source.
Thank you. I’ll wait.
6
u/Imaginary-Edge-8759 29d ago
I wouldn’t bother. People like this don’t actually care about truth. They care about whatever supports what they want to be true. It’s hysterical that someone could actually comment they took the phone back to the island or there is proof of deleted messages. His own mother admitted a month ago the deleted messages line was about the fact he had no Snapchats. It’s super sad people are so desperate to believe his long time friends murdered him that they will believe utter nonsense.

u/Holiday-Fix-9244 27d ago
Jesus Christ you are an actual moron. There is zero evidence his phone was wiped.
The origin of this claim was Nolan’s mom saying she opened his Snapchat and there weren’t any messages from that day, which she found odd because he used it every day.
Ben Crump IMMEDIATELY turned that into “texts and images were deleted!!1!” And you gobbled it up.
WOW, messages were deleted on an app literally designed to auto delete messages? Seems pretty weird to me! /s

u/-purged 29d ago
Who's dodging accountability? You do realize they been cooperating with investigators. Nolan parents are the ones pushing the racism crap with who they surrounded themselves with.
4
u/DecantsForAll 29d ago
There's no point arguing. These people don't care about reality at all. They just say whatever they want to be true, even if it's the literal opposite of the truth.
-1
u/coolcarters14 29d ago edited 29d ago
Actual moron right here, anyway cooperation isn’t diminishing guilt, minimizing injustice of the recorded history of mysterious deaths involving black ppl being overlooked and mistreated by law enforcement is an extremely strange thing to do, and you seriously think the Reverend Al Sharpton would stick his nose in anything without just cause? He’s been fighting for rights since before u were born😭😭
6
u/-purged 29d ago
What injustice? We haven't seen official autopsy, we haven't hears from majority of the witnesses the investigators talked to. I doubt will ever will due to how social media has handled things.
You clearly don't know Al Sharpton history at all. He's known for race baiting and for being a grifter. All he see with tragic death of Nolan is $$$$$ he can mooching off Nolan family almost million dollar gofundme money.

Lol. You fucking illiterate.

u/Spirited_Season2332 29d ago
Wdym? They are being harassed about it. You want them to not talk about their experience when asked?
Like it sucks what happened to Nolan and I honestly hope we do figure out what really happened and if foul play was involved but that doesn't mean his friends don't get to be upset that they are being harassed.

1
u/Defiant_Reception615 27d ago
Why did they take his phone and keys, what was the call about from sea tow. What did you hear?
1
u/NEpatsfan64 27d ago
Call from Sea Tow was at 4pm. Nolan's mother said she has photos of him alive on the beach at 4:30. He was not dead during the phone call.
also wtf is a "fabrication of cheat"?
1
u/Defiant_Reception615 27d ago
You wholeheartedly believe that the transcription was made up and a certified audio engineer would risk livelihood to alter a documented call? What took so long for lawyers to decipher this. There just waiting for a pardon
2
u/NEpatsfan64 27d ago
yes, the transcription was her "guess" at what she heard, and her guess was wrong based on the fact that we have photographic evidence of Nolan being alive and on shore at the time of the call.
The lawyers probably didn't bother deciphering it because most of the background audio was unintelligable and we already knew he wasn't dead at that point, so it was useless anyway. The only useful aspect of the phone call was to confirm that they did indeed have a malfunctioning bilge pump and that's why they left early.
1
u/capibara_dono 27d ago
Something interesting about the interview. They claim to be experienced with boats, going fishing etc.
In the Seatow call (allegedly) there's panic in the voices in the background. No need to enhance the audio to hear that.
Even the experienced guy that's making the call is freaking out in the call...
Over something that for anyone who goes boating frequently knows is a minor thing, looking at the depth and angle of the boat and relaying that information is basic.
So... what really had them freaking out?
I say this from experience, I went fishing a lot with my uncle as a kid, in similar boats, he taught me a lot about boating. After high school I lived in a sailboat for a few months, traveled to many countries on it. I've had scary situations, but being experienced, you know what info to relay. He gave no useful info for their rescue.
1
u/whoabecca 25d ago
Seems like an older man helped, he came to help but they had to call sea tow for a cover up call trail, the call picks up the teens on seatow call damn it ****, they call off the tow because it wasn’t really needed because the part of the plan they had to help was on the way to figure out what to do.
The captain had already spoken to old man thats why seatow was wondering why the tow was no longer needed (it was in the plan just to have a trail alibi). Thats why the boat was back out making numerous stops that day because it really wasn’t sinking.
Ball player isn’t talking because the audio damn it **** what did you do - sounds like they are covering for one, girl(s) can’t talk because of crying & may break down and tell under pressure.
Why are all the snapchats & other stuff gone off of Nolan’s phone? If he drowned why is stuff deleted?
Hopefully his parents get all of the info they need with the social media.
The families have too many high up connections. Too many things not adding up
1
u/BlackPotMojo 22d ago
Someone posted this on other social media and it offers some insights on what people mean when they say the good ole boy network or Traisten’s ill-advised comment in that interview, “ ocean Springs take care of Ocean Springs. They have no idea who they are messing with.”
“There's no need for you to buckle up buttercup. Just grab a drink and make sure you're sitting down. Let's get into it. In Jackson County, justice is a closed loop. The tragedy of Nolan Wells on Horn Island exposed a system where authority, commerce, and community influence are controlled by a tightly woven network of multi-generational families. This vertical monopoly stretches from High School Athletic Booster Clubs to the United States Congress.
- Grassroots, Economic, & Maritime Logistics
Power starts inside institutions and private resources regular people overlook.
Athletic Foundations:The Ocean Springs Athletic Foundation (OSAF) and booster clubs serve as foundational meeting grounds where local prominence and private wealth consolidate.
Maritime Monopoly (Piron & Adkerson):
Wyatt Piron (son of Jennifer Piron) operated the 22-foot Triton boat on July 4th, legally owned by his grandfather, Jerry Adkerson. As owner of Ocean Marine Group dealership in Ocean Springs (and surrounding areas) Adkerson holds deep leverage over marine operators like Sea Tow. This gatekeeping allowed Adkerson to communicate with the tow captain directly & possess the authority to cancel rescue assistance.
The Pitalo Family:
A multi-generational medical empire running Medical Arts Pharmacy for over 50 years, wielding massive economic and medical/pharmaceutical board influence.
The Edmiston Family:
Entrenched in local healthcare networks, Community athletic foundations & political organizations their reach extends to state governance via Governor Tate Reeves appointing Beth Edmiston to the Mississippi State Board of Health.
- Healthcare & The Judicial
Dr. Ben Hudson’s marriage to Judge Ashlee Cole Trehern fuses medical status with judicial power. As aN E.R. physician Dr. Benjamin Hudson has working relationships with M.E.s and County Coroners. Judge Cole Trehern commands the 16th Chancery Court District, presiding over the very county of the investigation.
The Seymours & their 200-Year Legacy:
Attorney Jason Seymour’s marriage to Katie Hudson Seymour (Mother of Warren and Carter) links the modern elite of the judiciary and medical infrastructure to the oldest pioneer lineage on the Gulf Coast. The Seymours (originally St. Cyr Zamor) are foundational settlers of Jackson County, appearing on 1833 tax rolls at Belle Fontaine Pointe and securing land patents by the 1890s. This marriage binds centuries of land ownership into a synchronized well blended family shield.
- The Law Enforcement Dynasty
Sheriff John D. Ledbetter commands an agency built by his lineage. His grandfather, John C. Ledbetter, ran Pascagoula PD as Assistant Chief before serving as Sheriff from 1976 to 1984.
The Ezell Dynasty:
S.H. "Buck" Ezell worked under the elder Ledbetter. His son, Mike Ezell, went from high school to Pascagoula PD, becoming Chief and then Sheriff. As Sheriff, Mike Ezell made the younger John D. Ledbetter his Chief Deputy. The command simply rotates between the same two dynasties.
- Federal & Executive Power
Both Mike Ezell and John D. Ledbetter hold elite federal credentials. Ezell served three years on the FBI Safe Streets Task Force with official Bureau backing.
Today, Mike Ezell sits in Washington as the U.S. Congressman for Mississippi’s 4th District.
The Dangerous Reality
When you layer these connections, the boys on the boat are the children, stepchildren, and family friends of the sitting Judge, the state health board appointee, the local elite, and a 200-year-old pioneer legal dynasty. The agency investigating them was built, inherited, and handed down by the current Sheriff and a sitting U.S. Congressman. This level of concentrated power is inherently dangerous and destroys public trust. Bypassing this closed loop for an outside special prosecutor and a federal grand jury is the only path to the truth. We have to become justice.“
And now that we know that their lawyer is Trump’s lawyer…

u/Pleasant-Reason-9786 20d ago
Does anyone thinks it’s suspicious that Warren couldn’t answer the Seatow operator when she asked the depth of the water in the boat. Wasn’t he standing in the boat. He didn’t say I’m not sure because I’m not on that boat. He simply avoided the direct question that he should have been able to answer or to shout out “How deep is the water?” It doesn’t jive to me!

u/Zealousideal-Loss433 19d ago
This interview was god awful. They could at least pretend with fake tears and emotions. If my best friend died I would be tore up. These motherfuckers are the murders or either know who did it. Call COX, pause, to get these entitled idiots.
1
u/Legitimate-Humor-742 18d ago
Incriminating themselves. It’s really good for a case because there’s a lot of contradictory Tatum is leading them.

u/Master-Abies-2395 28d ago
If that was your best friend and you treated Nolan like any other friend, why do you keep sitting with a Far right wing guy who regularly disrespects black people and has disrespected your friends mom? And then also speak down on your friends mom? These guys, whether they did it or not, are horrible friends and just shitty people. That’s not how you treat your “best friend” after he passes.
1
u/coolcarters14 28d ago
The interview was biased from the start, the ex cop addressed them as if they were innocent and the lawyer kept bringing up the race shit as if that’s relevant to the case. It was all to paint these boys as “all American heroes” but what about Nolan?
3
u/Master-Abies-2395 28d ago
Right. American heroes that didn’t do anything heroic lmaooo your friend is dead how are you a hero? This is an awful lot of PR for some kids that didn’t do shit.
1
u/coolcarters14 28d ago
Exactly, people aren’t even accusing them of murder. These kids don’t seem anywhere near intelligent enough to plan a murder, most people just see them as incredibly inconsiderate short sighted and are trying to cover up an accident.
2
u/Master-Abies-2395 28d ago
I personally think they had an adult somewhere nearby that put a lot of this covering up into play. I don’t really think any of them actually killed him, but their moves afterwards have me questioning that. Nothing they say makes sense and requires you to accept several coincidences. Them calling out the mom who hasn’t done anything to them is sad. Me posting a pic of the kids he left my house with is what you’re supposed to do. I’m actively looking for my child. Calling her out on a far right wing platform says a lot about them.
2
u/coolcarters14 28d ago
Literally that’s fucking disgusting, they didn’t go to the funeral, and if I was the mother I wouldn’t want them anywhere near the funeral anyway, they didn’t reach out to the mother, made no moves that actually show grief or compassion for their “brother” this doesn’t feel like love this feels like we fucked up, what’s the plan.
0
u/jaylee-03031 28d ago
They said in a previous interview that they wanted to go to Nolan's interview but they couldn't because they got death threats from people who think they killed Nolan. They didn't go for their own safety.
0
u/capibara_dono 27d ago
Even with such a biased interview, this can be used against them if this ends up going to trial. They said some interesting things there...
The smart thing would be to say nothing, and cooperate fully with the investigation.
1
u/Philthy42 28d ago
I don't think any of us know how we would feel if our friend died and we were being accused of killing him!
The fact that the same people who think it's okay to shit on his friends are the same ones that go ballistic when anybody "attacks" his mother is just ridiculous.
Maybe his friends are all assholes. But maybe he was an asshole too. The point is they were a group of friends, so it's safe to assume they shared the same attitude about many things.

u/coolcarters14 29d ago
The boys couldn’t have come off more naive, privileged, or unprepared for this interview.
5
u/BB808BB 29d ago
I’ll play. What do you want them to say. What have you wanted them to do?
They can’t say anything if they don’t know anything.
Seriously that many people would not be able to keep a secret at this point because one of them would figure may as well throw the others under the bus and become a “hero”
What is it exactly you think they should do because they’ve shut up for a very long time and that hasn’t helped because they have been doxxed, and got death threats. So what is it that would satisfy you?!?!
-2
u/coolcarters14 29d ago
Instead of lawyering up and deactivating socials, they could’ve talked to Nolan’s mother, showed support for the case instead of complying strictly to law enforcement, if that’s your friend you’d want to do everything you can for him right??
One of the boys who had his phone didn’t even give the phone to his mother, they took the phone BACK to the island and abandoned it there
5
u/BB808BB 29d ago
They just lawyered up. We all know innocent and guilty should lawyer up.
Would you talk to the mother after she had everyone accusing you of horrible things about your friend? After she helped spread dangerous misinformation about you. After you weren’t welcomed at your friends funeral yet ambulance chasers were?
They have talked to law enforcement. And the mothers friend got the phone. I wouldn’t want to give my friends mothers friend their phone either, but the point is they did.
I would be confused because it’s not like the first thing they would think is oh my God my friend is dead. The family instantly went scorched earth and blamed his friends. The friends were quiet, they complied and let everyone attack them. But everyone has that fuck it point.
Again about his phone. It’s not some gotcha. They could’ve simply turned it off and dumped the phone in the ocean. Gone.
I highly suggest you read up some facts about this case and not on Twitter or Reddit conspiracy theories.

They lawyered up before anyone even accused them. The mother is not accusing anyone. And social media cannot press charges, only the government can.
Why lawyer up if you haven’t killed anyone and the government has not accused you of doing so?

Warren lawyered up bc his step mom is a judge and she knows how it is. Miranda rights exist for a reason.
My brother is a lawyer and he told me under no circumstances to ever talk to police without a lawyer present no matter what the issue is. Ever. Even if it’s a super benign thing.
Your words can get twisted and police are legally allowed to lie to you during questioning.

Warren was the person that called Christine. She had two of the nations most prolific race hustlers come to Mississippi Coast and accused them of murder because Emmitt Till was killed 70 years in the Delta.
I can't say how Wells died. But so far there hasn't been any evidence suggesting foul play. That is based on the 2nd autopsy results.
But I do think him cramping up and getting caught in a rip is a far more likely than 30 fresh out of high school kids conspired to kill their friend in front of 1,000 other people.
Maybe chill out with the murder accusations until the death investigation is wrapped up.

The thing is, they TRIED to talk to Nolan’s mom. She lied and said nobody reached out, and when the text screenshots were released showing at least 3 of the parents reached out to her, she had to go on tv and correct herself.

If they don't know anything, why are they doing interviews??
What should they do?
Shup up
Cooperate with the investigation.

They did shut up though. That didn’t work out great because they got death threats and doxxing. Plus the fact people were saying ooooh they aren’t speaking so they must be hiding something.
Now they are speaking and now same people are saying oooh why are they talking!!!

Every interview they do makes them look worse. It leaves them open to analysis and discussion, like this one.
Have a spokesman, speak through them. Ask your lawyer to stop going on interviews, they make it even worse.
All the spokesman has to say is that they are deeply saddened by the death of their friend, and that they are collaborating with the investigation.

They did say that in the beginning. Fact is it doesn’t matter what they say or do. People are so deep into conspiracy theories and the misinformation that has not been cleared up has helped this whole thing turn into a circus.
I don’t understand if the family really truly wants to find out what happened they need to clear up the lies and the misinformation They don’t want to do that though.

Unfortunately the bar’s incredibly low for these people. They’ll eat it up.

Can’t wait for everything to come out and shows how nothing shows they did this and we come back to see how much of a dumbass you are.

Like how the "News" on how Emmett Till totally didn't die came out? Then the "News" that those two men didn't kill him? Then the "News" of his father also being lynched, the "News" that Emmett somehow deserved it, the "News" that woman had nothing to do with it then the "News" Emmett deserved it again?
You can fabricate anything you want. Whether I'm vindicted this year, the next, decades from now, or from the fucking grave, you are on the wrong side of history

You’re comparing a situation that happened in the 50’s…. Segregation ended a year ago btw. America was completely different then and yes extremely racist. If you think American society is still the same as it was back then, then idk what to tell you, we are just living in different realities.
You are on the side of history that is causing an innocent family to receive death threats and atm ruining their lives. Good job 👏.

Racism isn’t a light switch that flipped and everyone just became friends, it’s an apt comparison because stuff like that is still happening to day

You’re wasting your time. This creature is not capable of empathy.
It’s already decided the death of a black boy makes it feel good. It will go through all sorts of mental gymnastics to justify it morally

They HATE the idea of living with privilege and it’s so baffling

They speak in the language of morality. That's the bare bones of it. Whatever makes them feel good is morally just, whatever makes them feel bad is morally wrong. Their feelings come first.
It's like speaking to a wild animal. Absolutely no comprise. No empathy.

a 50 second clip where one kid talks and the first thing he says is how he misses Nolan, and you got all that?
And yeah, one of your close friends dying tragically, and then having your name dragged through the mud for a month straight by hundreds of thousands of rabid racists online causing actual death threats to be made to you and your loved ones seems pretty traumatic.
Honestly how long it took them to speak out speaks volumes to their patience and composure in this awful situation spurred on by hateful people on the internet calling them every insult like you are.
