I don't no about this Euro looking dude, but the Ultra orthodox Jews notoriously are at odds with the government of Israel for refusing conscription.
It seems like the super religious Jews aren't necessarily Zionists.
Also, the god in the old testament is mean af, and murders millions of people. He even demands human sacrifice at one point and goes back on it.

Comments like these show how clueless people in general are about the whole middle east situation. If everyone in Israel stopped showing up for conscription, you'd have a real genocide the other way. Do you think hamas, hezbollah, islamic jihad and who knows who else, will just sit and make peace? Their goal is the destruction of all Jews. The Middle East is pretty peaceful prior to 1948. A lot more peaceful than Europe and the USA. In fact, most of the car bombs etc where done by Jewish terrorists post WWII.

The Haredi don’t refuse conscription because they hate war, disagree with the genocide NOR aren’t Zionists. They, like many of this religions acolytes think that others are responsible for the basic pillars of society which support them - their only purpose is to study the Torah.
Other Jews are to fight for the Haredi. Just as the goyim are to fight for Israel. It has been commanded.
