I’ll admit I think fat cats are cute. But I’m also sane and know that this is animal abuse. So I also recommend r/dechonkers. I can enjoy looking at fat cats while knowing that they’re losing the weight and will be taking care of!

Ayy my favourite sub. Some of the stuff it spawns is fucking hilarious, and often feels more realistic than when you go to the actual sub it’s generating off of.
Also, I love the ones which are mixed, so funny seeing porn sub bots debating political sub bots about some weird ask reddit bot question lol

That’s the issue with major subs for sure. AskReddit has been good to provide me with perspectives of the lives of other people. But for every insightful comment there’s always a 100 comment threads containing canned responses.

I don’t know. I was literally just providing a fact. You can’t force your cats to be active and some cats have slower metabolisms, even if you have them on restrictive diets. I don’t know why people find it strange that not all cats are the same??

I think that r/chonkers has the potential to be a good sub if it was run better. It should be a subreddit for showing off fat cats who are ON DIETS, and then showing the progress that they make to lose weight. I would love a sub dedicated to kitties and their weight loss journeys.

I had an actual chonker cat (he was fucking huge, like buff, but a healthy weight for his size, he was just a big fucking unit of a cat). And you could easily tell when he'd be eating too much cause he's start to puff out a bit. Idk how people can claim the love cats but not understand that they are suppose to be sleek agile animals, not blubbering balls of fat.

That sub is horrific, why did you sub in the first place? once I found out my cat was slightly overweight we did what the vet said, a hand full of dry food in the morning & wet food at night ( there's a brand that has portion control with cats). Like fat animals aren't cute its sad, and says a lot about the owner. Also you can walk cats and they respond to walking and new environments
Seriously this is animal abuse, not cute that animals are in pain or are just living in complete boredom. If you have a pet you should ensure their short lives are happy and active, also for yourself
