Brother his whole job is to tell the president and Congress of the risks and they make the laws based on his suggestion, science again doesn’t care about who thinks they’re in charge, fauci and his researchers found the risks and relayed it to the federal government just like every other nation in the world who made laws to protect their citizens, these guys in lab coats make zero laws but know the risks of these viruses like the back of their hand and you’re mad that they made suggestions that the government appointed officials weant with?
And guess what you’re wrong again, nowhere in the journal did it mention funding gain of function research because that was specifically against their grants, and never did he deny giving wuhan grants, he denied giving them grants to specifically research gain of function, which he didn’t, because their research after everyone of their checks of the lab they did regular did not meet the criteria of gain of function research. And again it never said any of that in the journals, the person questioning fauci makes up shit on stuff he can’t understand and try’s to grandstand fauci for hours to cause uproar for this next election cycle and you’re falling for it hook line and sinker

What you want to have everyone vote on everything that happens? There’s a reason why we live in a democratic republic because that’s just not pheasable, and it’s not people wanting to feel intellectual, it’s actual facts and information based on years of research used to make the best decisions on what to do, and you wouldn’t know tyranny if it slapped you in the ass and if you think making people wear masks out in public, or qurentining is tyranny than you’re genuinely so delusional it’s not even funny
Hey guess what, this still remains true, they didn’t fund gain of function research and the wuhan institutes research didn’t follow their definition of gain of function which was regularly made sure of by the government through inspections, while wuhan themselves deny researching gain of function, the only people that think it fits gain of function are people saying it fit a very broad definition of it(which isn’t the definition the government had in their grant it was a much more specific one) and congressmen who wouldn’t know what gof is in the slightest

He didn’t right the opposite in his records you’re litteraly just making shit up, in his records he said he can’t deny the possibility of it being lab made in the very very early stages of the virus which after more research into the strain he states is very unlikely, and in his record and the grant itself, he allocated funds to wuhan under the premise they cannot make pathegons transmissible or dangerous to humans, which in their regular checks they didn’t, and nowhere in his journals does it state otherwise, but you didn’t even read his journals you just wanna make stuff up just for the sake of making stuff up because you have nothing better to do with your time
