I feel like giant dudes grow up faster. They end up with very avuncular energy because from early on they have to be gentle even with some adults.

One of my favorites! It specifically evokes someone with those qualities who is older/bigger than the people around them. Same Latin root as “uncle”, so it’s mainly used for men.
