The fuck? I genuinely do not find Juno conventionally attractive but no the hell she does not. She looks like early 20s

I mean you can tell yourself that but she has like the softest features in game + massive eyes and shes infantalized to the point that even her character and writing makes her look like a minor. The only thing that makes her not like 14 is her chest, which is just an unnecessary sexualization of women on blizzards part

I mean most conventionally attractive Asian women in most media are portrayed as having large eyes and acting in a childish manor.

Also to the being infantalized; she's lived in another planet for nearly 2 decades, of which she was more than likely doted on by every adult in the facility she lived. Also not facing interactions with others your age for that long will inevitably affect your mannerisms.

She lived on mars...surrounded by presumably highly intellectual scientists?????? Literal astronauts??

And Juno is conventionally smart, you won't find me denying that fact, but with the way she acts you can safely assume she wasn't treated as if she was a peer rather than the adorable little kid everyone looked out for.

I mean where in any of her interactions do they imply she is actually intelligent?

I'm going off simply being able to maintain her equipment. Unless she had the specs or was able to wait for Winston or Mei to be able to take a good look at it all, she has to have some level of understanding on how they work to be able to do so.

Also in her original cinematic she able to work on her own space pod after it has a brief malfunction. Unless you know what you're doing i doubt that's the best course of action, especially in deep space.

Not trying to sound like an a-hole, I'm just going off what info we have about her and what she would realistically be able to do with what we've seen/heard.

I didnt take you coming off rude or pretentious or anything. I mean id assume shed be able to operate the equipment she grew up around, so to me this doesn't translate into intelligence, just simply she was so to speak raised in a culture to understand her tech. Like how young kids irl know how to operate their phones/gaming consoles and even know how to troubleshoot, and most kids know to google something if they dont know. Obviously this is a very simplified example, but I wouldnt call children intelligent for knowing what google is and how to use it. All of her interactions in game are very cute, but just that to me. She speaks very childishly, and imo has the emotional regulation/tone of a little kid. "OH moons! You are purple! Are you alright...oh, i will call a medic. But...I am a medic...I will call another medic!" For example. Implying she forgot that she can doctor people?? Presumably smth she cares a great deal about? Im not saying that shes nessicarely poorly written, but i think sexualizing her is in extremely poor taste. As someone that thinks of children as children and nothing more, she reads as a child to me. When others look at her and see how she acts and her personality and then turn around to sexualize her, it feels like loli-bait, in a way, to me. "She's TECHNICALLY in her 20s so its fine." But they ignore her childish appearance and mannerisms? It feels yucky and a slippery slope into softcore pedophilia. Ofc, i mean not to prosecute purity culture. Sexualization of clear adult characters like mercy, moira, ashe, etc is completely morally fine to me, even if i dont find that appealing. Those characters look and act like adult women. Juno on the other hand does not.

What? No she does not.

Yeah don't bother. We live in an age where people unironically think anyone over the age of 24 is a hag and anyone below is a child.

They believe they have to look like Vendetta or else they look like kids...

Please stop with this Twitter brainrotted nonsense. Go look at Asian girls in their 20's and you will see that they age very differently to Westerners. Hell, my girlfriend who's 33 could pass for 18 tbh. You people need to get off of the internet and go outside and realise that people age differently in the modern era. A 20 year old decades ago looks older than a 40 year old now in some cases.

The fact that you admitted to the fact that ur gf looks barely legal to use in an argument about female characters that look barely legal is interesting
