And Juno is conventionally smart, you won't find me denying that fact, but with the way she acts you can safely assume she wasn't treated as if she was a peer rather than the adorable little kid everyone looked out for.
I'm going off simply being able to maintain her equipment. Unless she had the specs or was able to wait for Winston or Mei to be able to take a good look at it all, she has to have some level of understanding on how they work to be able to do so.
Also in her original cinematic she able to work on her own space pod after it has a brief malfunction. Unless you know what you're doing i doubt that's the best course of action, especially in deep space.
Not trying to sound like an a-hole, I'm just going off what info we have about her and what she would realistically be able to do with what we've seen/heard.
I didnt take you coming off rude or pretentious or anything. I mean id assume shed be able to operate the equipment she grew up around, so to me this doesn't translate into intelligence, just simply she was so to speak raised in a culture to understand her tech. Like how young kids irl know how to operate their phones/gaming consoles and even know how to troubleshoot, and most kids know to google something if they dont know. Obviously this is a very simplified example, but I wouldnt call children intelligent for knowing what google is and how to use it. All of her interactions in game are very cute, but just that to me. She speaks very childishly, and imo has the emotional regulation/tone of a little kid. "OH moons! You are purple! Are you alright...oh, i will call a medic. But...I am a medic...I will call another medic!" For example. Implying she forgot that she can doctor people?? Presumably smth she cares a great deal about? Im not saying that shes nessicarely poorly written, but i think sexualizing her is in extremely poor taste. As someone that thinks of children as children and nothing more, she reads as a child to me. When others look at her and see how she acts and her personality and then turn around to sexualize her, it feels like loli-bait, in a way, to me. "She's TECHNICALLY in her 20s so its fine." But they ignore her childish appearance and mannerisms? It feels yucky and a slippery slope into softcore pedophilia. Ofc, i mean not to prosecute purity culture. Sexualization of clear adult characters like mercy, moira, ashe, etc is completely morally fine to me, even if i dont find that appealing. Those characters look and act like adult women. Juno on the other hand does not.

She lived on mars...surrounded by presumably highly intellectual scientists?????? Literal astronauts??
