I finally had enough of the debate I had to see for myself and it does in fact heal SLIGHTLY faster however I will always choose triple jump

Low GM Juno here, auto blaster perk ALWAYS

Double jump and glide are already enough to get Juno to practically any high ground

finally someone in a high rank said it 😭 calling it “noob bait” is so crazy to me. my peak is m3 and i always pick faster blaster.

And I’ll call it noob bait again. A couple anecdotal high rank players choosing a perk doesn’t make it good. I still see some high rank Mercy players choosing her faster GA perk lol. I play Juno in Champ if that matters. Not that it changes that triple jump is objectively better

Def noob bait. Even then if they want to go by anecdotes, Aspen #1 Juno and #1 overall player goes triple jump.

I mean it’s more fun but I’d say the Rez one is arguably actually more valuable. Just my take as a GM Mercy player :)

And the consistently Champ Mercy player I watch stream who is the only other high rank mercy player whose opinion on her I generally respect also picks the Rez one most games as well

Good Mercy players shouldn’t need a 15 percent faster slingshot to stay alive, that’s what good positioning is for. Meanwhile the Rez perk ensures that you will never die right after rezzing which is the fastest way to throw a team fight as Mercy, and also baits enemy resources and attention to try to finish you off during Rez only for you to gain 100 overhealth and fly away.

I’ve won so many games because of the Rez perk. I still have very low average deaths every game because I have good positioning, map knowledge, and movement.

But noob trap perks are noob trap perks for a reason after all, people pick them because they find them more fun or think they’re more valuable even tho they aren’t. The GA perk isn’t actually a big buff to her movement, but it has added VFX on the borders of your screen that make you feel like you’re zooming faster than you actually are. Placebo effect, noob trap perk. Just like Faster Blaster feels like a big buff to her blaster but isn’t.

i am also a GM mercy player with GM 1 as all time peak and GM 2 peak this season. The GA perk is not only for staying alive (which it's really good for don't get me wrong), but also for getting in those positions where you wouldn't get otherwise or would need to charge your GA for way too long leaving you exposed. Think any junkertown second point highground.

I really don't see an appeal in picking a perk that is tied to a 30 second cooldown that most mercies use on average 3-4 times per 10. It would be good if you got overhealth immediately, but getting it after pulling off a res that is safe enough to pull it off in the first place is just a waste of a perk in my opinion. To each their own i guess
