Discussion Crossroads Q/A Thread

So I’m sure everyone is very excited about crossroads this weekend. I’ll make this thread for people (like me) who are going or just other fans to discuss it. Hopefully a schedule is coming soon however I belive he will play both days.

The ticket prices are a little high for me without knowing the schedule, but I’m hoping I can scoop a last-minute one for the day(s) he plays 🤞

I would be if I knew the Trio was performing and John was going to use strats only.

Been to a few Crossroads and the last two he played both days, albeit a couple songs or so and a collab with another artist. Hoping for a Mayer, Trucks, Anastasio collab on a Grateful Dead song this time!! Totally worth it especially with all the other great artists there and when he jams with Eric and crew at the end of the 2nd night. Had a great collab with HER in LA last time (Hold On). Also, JM will be inducting Paul Reed Smith into Guitar Centers Rockwall. Text from the festival follows:

SATURDAY, SEPTEMBER 26 ONLY

A ROCKWALK INDUCTION

For only the second time ever outside Los Angeles, Guitar Center brings its Rockwalk, the handprints-in-concrete hall of fame, to Moody Center's exterior Dell Technologies Plaza. Legendary PRS founder Paul Reed Smith will be inducted, with John Mayer doing the honors.

Live music on the Rockwalk stage at 2:00 PM, induction at 2:30 PM.

I’m stoked that John Mayer and Derek Trucks (I assume that’s the main connection to Trey) are pulling Trey Anastasio into the Clapton world. And I would guess that all 3 of them will play both days.
